Lesson: Loving Your Family

Key Verse: "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of

Devotional
Think of Joseph, the beloved son of Jacob. His brothers betrayed him and sold him into
slavery, yet Joseph never stopped trusting God. When he rose to power in Egypt, Joseph
had the opportunity for revenge but chose forgiveness instead. In Genesis 45:4-5,
Joseph said, "Do not be distressed or angry with yourselves because you sold me here,

for God sent me before you to preserve life." His love for his family reflected God’s
grace. How can we forgive and love our family as Joseph did?

all while staying true to God’s commands. Daniel’s commitment brought glory to God
and influenced kings. When you study, remember that you are preparing to serve God
and others with excellence.

Nehemiah had a dream to rebuild Jerusalem’s walls, but it wasn’t just his own ambition.
It was God’s plan placed in his heart. Nehemiah prayed, planned, and persevered, even
