🕹 ESPORTS COMPETITION GUIDELINES

Main Event Date: March 12-14, 2025

Orientation & Online Gaming Education: March 11, 2025

Participants: DLSAU TED Students only

General Guidelines

• Open only to currently enrolled DLSAU TED students


• Two teams per category per department (5–7 players/team + 1 non-playing Coach)
• Only one category per student
• Players must submit:
- Photocopy of school ID with latest sticker
- Data Privacy Consent Form
• Team names must follow proper naming conventions
• Discord and Facebook will be the official platforms
• All players must have a Discord account for valorant players only
• No piloting or use of unregistered players
• Organizers reserve the right to use photos/videos for media and marketing

Team Requirements

• Attendance in Orientation & Online Gaming Education is mandatory (Team Captain only)

Conduct & Sportsmanship Rules

• Respect all players, marshals, and facilitators


• Maximum of 3 WARNINGS per Team:
- 3 Warnings = Team Disqualification
- Disrespect to Players/Marshals = 1 Warning
- Foul Language = 1 Warning
- Toxic Behavior = 1 Warning
• Arrive at least 20 minutes before match time; latecomers forfeit matches
• No player substitutions or additions on the spot
• Players cannot join more than one team
• Use of third-party programs or hacks = Automatic Disqualification
• Lag/disconnection complaints are considered only after 3 minutes into the match
• No requirements = No play

Game-Specific Rules

VALORANT

• Game Mode: Custom Game (Unrated)


• Platform: Discord
• Requirements:
- Players must turn on microphones and cameras during matches
- Must join designated Discord channels
- Pause Policy: Type “P” in chat to pause; max 2 pauses/team, 5 minutes each
- Bracket system matchups; team captains coordinate via Discord group chats

CALL OF DUTY: MOBILE (CODM)


• Match Structure: Bracket Match
• Game Mode: Custom Match
• Requirements:
- Follow all general conduct and technical rules
- Team communication only; no cross-team chat
- Must join required communication channels

MOBILE LEGENDS: BANG BANG

• Game Mode: Custom Game


• Match Structure:
- Round Robin Format
- Finals: Best of 3 Matches
• Platform: Facebook + Discord Communication Channels
• Additional Rules:
- Players must present IDs with the latest school sticker
- Strict enforcement of the 3-warning rule, late forfeits, no
substitutions/additions
- Communication is limited within the team
- Lag/disconnection issues entertained only after 3 minutes of gameplay
