Gauge:
13 sts x 10 rows = 3” blocked in hdc stitch pattern

Abbreviations:
ch = chain stitch
dc = double crochet
hdc = half double crochet
lp(s) = loop(s)
rep = repeat
rnd(s) = rounds
RS = right side
sc = single crochet
sk = skip
sl st = slip stitch
WS = wrong side

Special Stitches:
Reverse Single Crochet (reverse sc) = working left to right,
insert hook in next st to the right of the one you are in,
draw up lp, draw new lp through 2 lps in hook

Notes: The stocking is worked in 2 halves lengthwise

with easy shaping. After joining the halves, the cuff is
worked around the top of the stocking.

The cuff is worked in rounds, alternating RS and WS

facing, so always make sure to carry color not in use on
the WS of the fabric. Pine tree motifs will be worked
upside down to make them the right direction when
cuff is flipped down.

First ch 2 does not count as a double crochet.
