If a person or animal has lost one sense (or one is not working as well as it should)
then the other senses can compensate by becoming more acute.

Blindfold a friend.
Ask them to taste sample of each food and say whether
they like or dislike.
Record this in the notebook.
You can investigate by holding your nose while eating
different food to check if you can taste properly.
