MEXICAN VISA

VISITOR WITH PERMISSION TO CONDUCT REMUNERATED ACTIVITY

(NUT – INAMI)

REQUIREMENTS

Duly filled in English or Spanish (Latin characters)


1) Visa application form
and signed by the applicant. (Download here).
• Original, valid at least six months from the
intended date of entry into Mexico.
• Photocopy, good quality of the personal data
2) Passport
pages that contain the following
(Original and Photocopy) information: Passport number, signature,
validity period.
• Original and photocopies of previous
passports, visas and entry stamps.
• One recent (no more than 30 days) colour
photo
• Size: 3.5 x 4 cm, white background, NO
3) Photo DIGITAL RETOUCH (NO PHOTOSHOP)
• The face must be uncovered, without
glasses or any kind of
accessories/decorations.

4) Proof of legal stay in • Only for applicants who are not Vietnamese
Viet Nam citizens.
• Permanent Residence Card, Temporary
(Original and Photocopy) Residence Card, Valid Visa issued by
Vietnamese migration authorities.
• INAMI Authorization letter (NUT)

• Supporting documents:

Mexico.
✓ Proof of personal skills for the
intended activity.
Payment in cash, exact amount in US Dollars.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• The Mexican institution or company which intends to employ the


foreigner must submit the visa application directly to the National
Migration Institute (Instituto Nacional de Migración, INAMI) in Mexico.

• INAMI, through the institution or company, will grant a Número Único


de Trámite (NUT) with which the foreigner can request a consular
interview and later, depending on the result of the interview, the
corresponding visa would be issued.

• It is the applicant’s responsibility to COMPLETELY provide the


abovementioned requirements the day of the interview.
THE EMBASSY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE
APPOINTMENT IF THE DOCUMENTATION IS INCOMPLETE.

• The Embassy reserves the right to request further documentation.

• According to Mexico’s Migration Law, the visa does not guarantee the
entry into Mexico: the final admission is subject to the approval by the
migratory and sanitary authorities at the point of entry.

VISA APPLICATION PROCEDURE

• Visa applications will only be accepted with a scheduled appointment.

• The Embassy will set an appointment on the earliest available date.


THERE ARE NO URGENT APPOINTMENTS.

• The visa application is processed only at the Embassy of Mexico in Viet


Nam, located in HANOI.

• Present complete required documents (original and copies) on


appointment date. The Embassy reserves the right not to process
incomplete applications.

• Applicants are responsible to present all required documents as


indicated on the Visa Section of the Embassy’s website.

• There will be no prior review of documents once a visa application is


submitted.

• Submission of applications and collection of visas are strictly personal.


• The application processing fee must be paid in cash, IN DOLLARS
ONLY when submitting the application at the Consular Section of the
Embassy (banknotes in good condition issued after 2013). Payment is
NOT REFUNDABLE regardless of the visa application result.

• The visa will be subject to approval after the consular interview. The
Embassy has up to 10 (TEN) working days to issue the visa application
result.

• The Consular Section does not issue express visas.

• Admission of entry to Mexico will be determined exclusively by the


Immigration Authority at the point of entry.
