and make a plan of the film they have chosen to write about

1. Pupils activate prior knowledge by working in pairs and take turns to describe a favourite film, describe what the film is about, say why they
like it and who would they recommend should see the film.
2. A few pairs share their discussions with the class.
LESSON DEVELOPMENT: (40 minutes)

7. Pupils read through the film review and identify any unknown words at the same time.
8. Pupils answer 4 questions about the review of the film Ola Bola and discuss answers as a class. (Main Skill)
9. Pupils proceed to Section C and read through the sentences 1-8 and the adjectives in the box.
10. Pupils rephrase 8 sentences using 8 adjectives in the box.
11. Pupils compare their answers in pairs before discussing as a class.
12. Pupils go on to Section D and read through the plan, the TIPS corner and the writing task.
13. Pupils work in groups and make a plan of the film they have chosen to write about and include the following points: (Title, type of film,
director, leading actors, plot, acting, soundtrack, special effects, costumes and ending) (Main Skill)
14. A few groups read out their film reviews.
