ABSTRACT

Coconut dehusking and cutting has traditionally been a labor-intensive process, often
relying on manual tools like machetes. To overcome the challenges of manual methods,
including inefficiency, safety risks, and shell breakage, a motorized coconut dehusking and
cutting machine is being proposed. This machine incorporates a motorized mechanism
powered by an AC motor to drive the dehusking and cutting operations, enhancing
productivity and precision. The design focuses on efficiency, ergonomics, and environmental
sustainability while ensuring ease of maintenance and cost-effectiveness. The motorized
system aims to provide consistent performance, making it suitable for both small-scale and
industrial coconut processing applications.
