9. Cylinders shall be secured and should be in up-right position.
10. Valve protection caps shall be provided to the cylinders.
11. Flash back arrestors shall be provided on both ends of cylinders & torch.
12. Cylinders shall not be kept in sun light area/ near-by hot environment.
13. Cylinders shall be placed in ventilated area.
14. Never drop the cylinders and strike against one another.
15. Only authorized & trained persons can perform the gas cutting activity.
16. Shifting of cylinders by cylinder trolley only.
17. Manual shifting of cylinders through staircase shall be avoided.
18. Cylinders should not be rolled down or lifted by supporting the valve.

5 Review on status of implementation shall be done through observation and / or site severity audit.

Review on status of implementation shall be done through observation and / or site severity audit.
Before start of the job, induction shall be given to persons engaged at site by departmental representative and subsequent daily induction shall
be given by Working agency / Contractor’s Representative.
Safety Officer can verify as part of audit on adequacy and level of compliance to this SWP.
Tentative job is defined as non-routine job which is being undertaken either by Contractor’s or Company employees on demand basis and for
which there is no any documented Safe work procedure under QS/EHS system.
1. Ensure the surface area are level & compact.
2. Provide base plate/sole plate at the base
3. inspection of scaffolding material prior work start.
4. Barrication must be provided around working area.
5. Red tag provided during erection of scaffolding
6. Deploy authorised & competent Scaffolders.
7. No work in bad weather , heavy rain, high wind & poor visibility.
08 Ensure proper illumination during night work.
09. Ensure that good condition of rope to be use during lifting.
10. Ensure the presence/ supervision of competent scaffolder while scaffolding erection.
11. Maintain clear communication among the persons involved in the activity.
