10. Hydra shall be used for lifting & lowering only. No marching of hydra with load allowed.
11. No work in bad weather , heavy rain, high wind & poor visibility.
12. Ensure proper illumination during working.
13. Don't over load the crane/ hydra more than 80% of capacity.
14. Operator should be medically fit & vision test to be included in medical test.
15. Barricade the working area & restrict the un-authorised entry & movement.
16. Ensure the use of guide rope of minimum 10 Mtr on both side during lifting.
17. Ensure proper approach/ access to the working area.

1. Gas cutting hoses shall be inspected for any damages, ISI mark & any joints prior to the start of jobs.
2. No joints shall be allowed in the gas cutting hoses.
3. Two stage regulators (line pressure & cylinder pressure) to be used for the activity in working condition.
4. The condition of cutting torch & nozzles are to in good condition.
5. No leaks to be allowed during the activity. Soap solution shall be available with cutting set to for leak test during any
leakages.
6. Only striker to be used for the lighting the torch.
7. Remove all fire prone material below & near the working area.
8. Gas cutting trolley shall be provided for the handling of gas cylinders.
9. Cylinders shall be secured and should be in up-right position.
10. Valve protection caps shall be provided to the cylinders.
11. Flash back arrestors shall be provided on both ends of cylinders & torch.
12. Cylinders shall not be kept in sun light area/ near-by hot environment.
13. Cylinders shall be placed in ventilated area.
14. Never drop the cylinders and strike against one another.
15. Only authorized & trained persons can perform the gas cutting activity.
16. Shifting of cylinders by cylinder trolley only.
17. Manual shifting of cylinders through staircase shall be avoided.
18. Cylinders should not be rolled down or lifted by supporting the valve.

29. Ensure & take care of near by diesel tank while performing any hot work.

1. Educate all the workmen in the area to avoid the direct seeing of welding during welding activity.
2. Welder must wear all the PPE's including leather hand gloves, leather apron, leather hand sleeves, leather leg guards,
helmet with face shield, safety shoe etc.
3. Keep bucket of water for first aid in case of burns.
4. Deploy skilled and trained welder.
5. After completion of work, pour water at and around the worked area.
6. Keep fire extinguishers and inform the workmen about availability ,validity & location.
7. Remove all combustible / flammable materials from the work area. Cover the material with GI sheets that cannot be re-
located.
8. All workmen should wear proper PPE's.
9. Ensure the use of GI sheets/ ceramic blankets at platform to avoid the welding splatters all around the place.
10. Ensure no flammable materials below/ around the working area.
11. Maintain good housekeeping and keep the working area barricaded.
12. All the cylinders both full & empty are stacked separately.
13. Oxygen & LPG shall be stored separately. All the cylinders are stored vertical up-right
14. Power supply shall be taken from ELCB (30mA) only.
15. ELCB shall be checked for proper working by authorised electrician before use.
16. Identification numbers to be provided for welding machine.
17. No joints accepted for the electrical & welding cables.
18. Welding cables insulation shall be in good condition.
19. Insulated connectors to be used for the welding cables.
20. Insulated good conditioned welding holders to be used.
21. CO2 Fire extinguisher to be provided at welding machine for emergency.
22. Earthing of the welding machine to be provided at job location only.
23. Input cable should not be more than 3 meters from the input supply to the welding machine.
24.Weather/ rain protection to be provided for all the electrical appliances including welding machine.
