What is AWS?
-The Amazon Web Services (AWS)
platform provides more than 200 fully
featured services from data centers
located all over the world, and is the
world's most comprehensive cloud
platform.

-Amazon web service is an online


platform that provides scalable and cost-
effective cloud computing solutions.
-AWS is a broadly adopted cloud platform that offers several on-
demand operations like compute power, database storage, content
delivery, etc., to help corporates scale and grow

AWS Services:-

As of 2022, AWS provides more than 200 services from data


centres globally.
AWS offers a large variety of services spanning many
different categories to match the diversity of technical needs
in modern cloud-centric development.
Some of which we are going to explain are-
EC2, S3 Buckets, Auto Scaling, etc.
1] Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2)-
The EC2 service is useful for creating virtual machine with several
operating systems and configuration options.
It supports various instances based on need and cost. And instances
are associated with IP, S3 and EBS for remote access and data
storage.
2] Simple Storage Services-
AWS S3 is an object storage service that offers Scalability, data
availability, security and performance. It provides a range of
storage classes designed for different use cases which used to
store and backup data which can be accessed from anywhere.
3] AWS Auto Scaling-
The Auto Scaling service helps you ensure that you have the correct number of EC2
instance available to handle the load of your application.
It automatically increase or decrease the Instances according to the incoming traffic
while, ELB distributes the traffic across multiple instances. Route 53 connects users
request to internet applications running on AWS.
OVERVIEW

The word DevOps is a combination of the terms development and operations, meant to
represent a collaborative or shared approach to the tasks performed by a company's
application development and operations team.

In its broadest meaning, DevOps is a philosophy that promotes better communication


and collaboration between these teams -- and others -- in an organization.

In its most narrow interpretation, DevOps describes the adoption of iterative software
development, automation, and programmable infrastructure deployment and
maintenance. The term also covers culture changes, such as building trust and cohesion
between developers and systems administrators and aligning technological projects to
business requirements. DevOps can change the software delivery chain, services, job
roles, tools and best practices.

providing a smooth and responsive gaming experience for

CONCLUSION

To make the journey to the cloud smooth, efficient, and effective, technology companies
should embrace DevOps principles and practices. These principles are embedded in AWS,
and form the cornerstone of numerous AWS services, especially those in the deployment
and monitoring offerings.

Begin by defining your infrastructure as code using the service AWS CloudFormation or
AWS CDK. Next, define the way in which your applications are going to use continuous
deployment with the help of services like AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy, AWS
CodePipeline, and AWS CodeCommit. At the application level, use containers such as
AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Amazon ECS, or Amazon EKS.

Use AWS OpsWorks to simplify the configuration of common architectures. Using these
services also makes it easy to include other important services such as Auto Scaling and
Elastic Load Balancing.
FUTURE SCOPE

DevOps is integrating software development and IT operations to produce a more agile,


efficient, and customer-focused approach to software delivery. In the future of
DevOps, automation will be a crucial component.

With automation, DevOps will become even more agile and efficient. It will result in a
better customer experience and higher-quality products. Automation will also make it
easier for companies to scale their services globally.

DevOps' future relies on practical use cases in the area. The scope of DevOps is on the
rise with several amendments to software development.

The future of DevOps is shaped by the increasing demand for faster delivery of software
products. This article explores this future in 2024 or beyond by analyzing key trends
shaping today's DevOps environment.
