Q Write a story which includes the words “what do you mean you forgot it”

Lily was so excited for her school's annual talent show. She had been practicing her dance
routine for weeks and was ready to shine on stage.

As she was getting ready to leave for school, her mom asked her if she had everything she
needed.

"Yes, mom, I've got my costume, my shoes, and my music," Lily replied confidently.

But when they arrived at school, Lily's teacher, Mrs. Johnson, asked her to hand over the
CD with her music.

Lily's face fell as she rummaged through her bag. "It's not here!" she exclaimed.

Her mom looked at her in surprise. "What do you mean you forgot it? We specifically packed
it this morning!"

Lily felt her eyes welling up with tears. She had been looking forward to this day for so long,
and now it seemed like it was all going to fall apart.

But Mrs. Johnson quickly came up with a solution. "Don't worry, Lily. We can use the
school's music system to play your song. It might not be exactly the same, but it'll do in a
pinch."

Lily's mom helped her set up the music, and although it wasn't perfect, Lily's dance routine
was still a huge hit. She learned a valuable lesson that day: even when things don't go
according to plan, you can still make the best of it and shine!

As Lily took the stage, she felt a mix of emotions. She was nervous about performing in front
of the whole school, but she was also determined to make the best of the situation.

She took a deep breath, put on a bright smile, and began to dance. At first, she was a bit
stiff, but as the music played on, she started to relax and let loose.

The audience cheered and clapped along, and by the time Lily finished her routine, she was
beaming with pride.

As she took her bow, Mrs. Johnson came up to her and gave her a big hug. "Lily, that was
amazing!" she exclaimed. "I'm so proud of you for being brave and adaptable."

Lily's mom was also beaming with pride. "I'm so proud of you, sweetie," she said, giving Lily
a big hug. "You showed everyone that even when things don't go according to plan, you can
still shine."

Lily smiled, feeling happy and relieved. She had learned a valuable lesson that day, and she
knew that she would carry it with her for the rest of her life.
As they walked home from school, Lily turned to her mom and said, "Thanks for helping me
today, mom. I don't know what I would have done without you."
