I have graduated Cambridge University the faculty of English language and I
have been educated by those professors who had Nobel Prize.
Moreover, I organized some lessons on behalf of some professors in terms of

experience by teaching students.

(P) One of the problems that modern school students are facing is struggling to
concentrate during lessons. (T1) The main reasons behind this phenomenon can
be excessive use of technological gadgets and non-engaging teaching
methodologies. (T2) However, this issue can be addressed effectively in a
number of ways.

(En) Lack of focus can be attributed to some factors. (T) The first one could be
the use of technological devices, like smartphones and tablets. (Ex) These
gadgets often bombard students with messages, notifications, and they often use
them for the purpose of entertainment by watching videos and playing games.
(R) This, in turn, distracts students from their academic subjects, impairing their
concentration levels. (T2) Another cause could be boring lessons at schools.
(Ex2) Despite improvements in education systems and programs, some
educators still apply teacher-centered methods, not involving students in the
lesson process. (R2) Therefore, students may not be attracted to the lessons,
resulting in poor attention toward the lesson.
MB 2 – Solutions (En) This issue can be dealt with some effective measures.
(T) One of them could be educating school students about using technological
devices properly. (Ex) By informing them about the dangers of excessive
screentime on their mental health, we can raise their awareness on this matter,
reducing the amount of time on using gadgets (r). (Alternative) Alternatively,
unless in the case of emergency, it is even possible to prohibit the use of
smartphones at schools. (T2) To engage students in the lessons, teachers can
also apply some methods. (Ex2) They can organize games, group-discussions
and presentations by students, all of which actively involve students in the class.
(R) By doing this, it can be ensured that students` concentration levels can be
maintained.

In conclusion, the use of technological gadgets and relatively unengaging lesson
procedures can cause poor concentration levels of students. As solutions,
teaching students how to use their smartphones, for example, effectively and
organizing student-centered lessons could be offered.
