where you might put your skills and interests to use. Note the career title, the
median wage, the amount of education usually required and typical tasks or skills
needed, on the chart.

• Use the following websites to research the careers: Circle

Wrap-Up: Connecting Interests to Careers

1. Think about the results of your research. Which careers did you research that
were intriguing and made a good wage?

Careers I researched that intrigued me is being a Speech Pathologist, Graphic Desisgnist, Baker, and/or a Vetrinarian.

2. Consider the careers that you found interesting. How could your interests,
passions, or skills be used in that occupation?
For being a Speech Patholoigist I am passionate about helping kids overcome their language obstacles and sharing tips that hworked for me. I also am patient with

working with children so this would be the perfect job for me. I don't really enjoy creating the process of making videos but I love editing, creating different

presentations, and photography. I love baking and experimenting with different items so being a baker on the side is a good option. I also love specific animald so I

think I would be good working with only those animals. I despise reptiles and animals that can kill you easily.

3. What classes could you take or activities could you pursue to help you start down
the path to the careers you found interesting?

For beign a Speech Pathologist, I can take classes of human services and education. For being a baker, I could take classes on nutrition and cooking. For being

a graphic designers, I could take classes in Visual Productions and continue taking photos. For being a Vetrinarian, I can take classes in animal sciences and health.
