under any circumstances whatsoever. Also, we will need two weeks to

GST component of the fee is nonrefundable always.
05 Class Scheduling
Classes are scheduled on a dynamic basis by sharing the tutor calendar with
the student for each class. The calendar links are shared only after the
assignment for the previous class has been submitted by the student.
Students are advised to be prompt with assignment submission to ensure
that they get an adequate choice on tutor slots. Kindly note that flexible
scheduling is an essential feature of the program and we will not be able to
freeze permanent time slots for the classes.
Also, unless expressly stated at the start of the course, we will not be able to
schedule more than three classes in a week for a student.
Note: A request from you for a change in time zone may necessitate change
in tutors, as our tutors work in specific time zones. It may also affect the
frequency of classes based on tutor’s availability.
07 Class Cancellation and Reschedules
We take a very serious view of class cancellations and reschedules by the
students as well as tutors. Keeping in view everyone’s interests, the following
shall apply irrespective of the reason of cancellation/ reschedule:
For an hour long class rescheduled by the tutor less than 4 hours
a) from the start time, a time equal to the class will be added to the
student’s account. For a class rescheduled by the tutor from 24 to
4 hours before the scheduled time, time equals to 50% of the class
time will be credited as bonus to the student’s account.
If a tutor does not join a class for 15 mins from the scheduled start
time and does not give a prior intimation to the student, it will be
treated as a no show. For a no show by the tutor, double the class
time will be added to the student’s account.
If a student does not join a class for 15 mins from the scheduled
start time and does not give a prior intimation to the tutor, it will be
treated as a no show. For a no show by the student, double the
class time will be deducted from the student’s account. Further, in
case of a no show or a re-schedule of a class less than 4 hours
from the scheduled time, a link to schedule the next class will be
shared only on expiry of 48 hours from scheduled time of the
rescheduled class.
During the second attempt, a new mentor and her specialized team will work
with the student. This team is dedicated to optimizing the score and helping
the student manage their time more effectively, focusing on specific areas for
improvement.
09 Change in Target Test Date
A target test date shall be decided on mutual consultation at the time of
course commencement. One test date change to the immediate next test
date is permitted provided a request for the same is received at least 3
weeks from the target test date. However, this is subject to the total number
of tutoring hours and mock tests as outlined in the offer document. For the
second attempt, no change in target test date is allowed under any
circumstances.
Please note that the target test date set during the presentation is valid for
two weeks only because the target test date is dependent on the prep start
date. If enrollment occurs after this period, the original target test date
becomes null and void and a new target date will be established after mutual
discussion.
For the second attempt, however, the entire tutor team may be changed to
bring in an alternate perspective to prep.
13 Parent Interaction with Tutors and Mentor
Parents are welcome to sit by the student’s side and sample the class.
However, we do not permit them to interact with the tutor during the class.
Kindly make sure that you are not visible to the tutor during the session, it
might distract them. Further, in no case are the parents permitted to join the
session from a different device or location. Also, the parents are not
permitted to write direct messages to tutors or to call them. Kindly note that
all such messages or calls will not be answered and we will bear no
responsibility towards any such communication.
The one-point contact for the parents is the Mentor who will schedule a
periodic zoom meeting with the parent to update them on the student’s
progress. In case a parent wants to get in touch with a mentor, we
recommend that you leave them a message and schedule a call at a mutually
convenient time. For most operational concerns, a message to the whatsapp
group shall result in a prompt response.
Also, students are not permitted to join the class from a phone or a tablet.
Since our classes involve extensive use of whiteboard, they must always join
the class from a laptop only.
16 Class Recording
All interactions with the student as well parents shall be recorded for internal
training and quality control purposes. The recordings can be shared with the
parents only in the rarest of rare cases.
17 Results Publication
To inspire our future students to do well and as a standard practice, we
publish the names and school names of all students who score a 99th
percentile or higher. Kindly note that we will not entertain any request from
the student or parent to opt out of this feature.
18 Response Time
The working hours for Managers are 1 pm to 9 pm IST for Indian students and
from 6 am to 9 am IST and 6 pm to 10 pm IST for students in the US and
Pacific. Messages posted during their working hours will typically be
responded to in a couple of hours. Messages posted outside their working
hours will be responded to as they resume work on the next working day.
Some tutors at their own discretion may keep their calendars open in part or
in full on these days and we welcome the students to schedule classes.
However, the managers will not be available to offer any support other than
tutoring.
20 Director’s Discretion
To meet any unforeseen emergencies, the course director reserves the right
to suspend classes for all students for a period up to a week without giving
prior notice or assigning any reason for the same.
24 Test Registration
The registration for the SAT or ACT will be done at the student’s cost and
responsibility and we bear no responsibility towards the same. The last dates
for registration can be looked up at the respective websites i.e.
www.collegeboard.org for SAT and www.act.org for ACT. In case you find any
difficulty in registration, our team is more than eager to help.
25 Declaration of Accommodation
In case the student is entitled to any testing accommodations such as extra
time, long breaks etc., parents are requested to disclose the same at the
outset so that we can make necessary arrangements at our end.
26 Technology Malfunction
The service delivery for these tests is heavily dependent on our digital testing
platforms which like any other technology products are vulnerable to bugs
and external cyber-attacks. Any such event that is beyond our control may
destabilize the prep for a few days as the time needed for a remedial action
can not always with estimated with precision.
27 GST Invoice
In case you need a GST invoice for the fee paid, kindly share your GSTIN copy
with us within 24 hours from the time you pay the first fee installment. We will
not be able to issue a GST invoice once an invoice has been issued at our
end.
28 SAT to ACT and Vice Versa
A shift from SAT to ACT and vice versa can be affected only in the first fifteen
days from the commencement of classes. Should you wish to change the
target test beyond this deadline, 50% of the applicable course fee shall be
payable over and above the fee paid for the first course.
Our average SAT score for 2023 is 1430 and the Median SAT score for 2023 is
1460. The average starting score on the diagnostic test for the same period is
1170.
31 Group PTM
Our Director will take you through our approach to SAT prep periodically in an
online group meeting. Parents must attend the same. In case you cannot
attend for some reason, please request for a recording of the same to be
shared with you.
