 the skopos analysis of the target text
("target text skopos")
 the analysis of the source text
ST analysis:

 compatibility of the ST with the


requirements to translation;
 detailed analysis to understand the ST
while paying special attention to
restore the function of the TT
Translation requires the execution of
four consecutive tasks:

1. Analysis of skopos target text (new


goals, new players);
2. Analysis of source text;
3. Transfer (translation);
4. The synthesis of the target text.
