The Data Analyst is expected to harness the power of data. Through the generation of actionable insights, Efficient management

Responsible for managing Mergers and Acquisition Data in Workday Maintain and optimize Workday data for FedEx
employees globally Troubleshoots and resolves issues in partnership with People Data & Systems team as necessary
with exceptional customer service Collaborates with partners in People Experience, Payroll, Finance, Total Rewards,
DES and others to provide support for requests such as minor configuration enhancements and break-fix needs.
Provides support for Workday, including researching, identifying, and resolving complex Workday issues, unexpected
results and process flaws in close coordination with People Services Teams Continuously increases technical and
industry trend knowledge by participating in Workday Community and other forums, including on-line discussions,
brainstorms, training, webinars, etc.
Performs complex data uploads into Workday utilizing Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs), or oversees and audits EIB
loads done by other data analysts in People Data & Systems team as needed Assists the PPL COEs and other People
Experience teams with the process flows, data analysis configuration EIB loads associated with annual and off cycle
events such as performance evaluations, merit increases, bonus payments, and job structure enhancements Monitor
and analyses Workday performance and make recommendations to deliver greater operational efficiency
effectiveness Assists with system implementation and upgrades Actively participates in user acceptance testing and
documentation Assists end-users and internal teams on Workday related issues Liaise with (internal & external
stakeholders).
Effective communication is key, as they work closely with business teams to translate data findings into actionable
insights and provide training on data tools and best practices. Overall, a Data Analyst plays a crucial role in
transforming raw data into valuable intelligence that enhances decision-making and business performance. Analysts
create dashboards and reports using visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau, making complex data easily
understandable for stakeholders. They also manage databases, enforce data governance policies, and ensure
compliance with industry regulations.
Collaborating with different departments, they provide data-driven recommendations, track key performance
indicators (KPIs), and support strategic planning. Additionally, they automate repetitive tasks using SQL, Python, or R
to improve efficiency and optimize workflows. Beyond analysis, database management and data governance are key
responsibilities, ensuring data security, accuracy, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR or HIPAA. Analysts
also support business intelligence (BI) initiatives, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
Education Background:
Technical skills:
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel required, especially in visualization Strong skills in data analysis and
reporting, including statistical analysis software (such as Stata, SPSS). Experience with GIS software would be a
bonus. Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Demonstrated analytical and assessment skills of quantitative and qualitative data
Excellent oral and written presentation skills
Conversant with data: comfortable working with data sets of varying sizes, able to generate descriptive statistics
and
find simple patterns. Bonus: knowledge of and experience with machine learning models.
Familiar with the following tools: PoweBI, SQL, Python, AWS, Tensorflow.
