Introduction

Good morning my name is —- and today i will be doing a presentation on augmented reality

So … What is augmented reality , well Augmented reality is an interactive experience that

enhances the real world with computer-generated perceptual information. Using
software, apps, and hardware such as AR glasses, augmented reality overlays digital
content onto real-life environments and objects.

Augmented reality is used in multiple fields like…..

Examples of augmented reality

Apple vision pro - since we can see all the virtual images or information through the
apple vision pro onto the real world

A pair of high-resolution cameras transmit over one billion pixels per second to the
displays so you can see the world around you clearly

Snapchat - the filters are virtual but are applied on to our faces or our surrounding wich
are in the real world ( or any apps that have filters )

The technology collects pixilation data from the contrasting light and
dark areas of the image (in this case, your face), which allows it to
determine its position.
VR -VR is completely virtual.
VR users are controlled by the system.
VR requires a headset device
VR only enhances a fictional reality.

AR - Uses real world settings

.users can control their presence in the real world
.AR can be accessed with a smartphone.
.AR enhances both the virtual and real world

FEATURES

a combination of digital and physical worlds, interactions made in real time, and
accurate 3D identification of virtual and real objects.

ADVANTAGES

AR and VR usher in an era of interconnectedness, transcending geographical barriers. Virtual meetings

and conferences conducted in immersive digital environments curtail the need for extensive travel,
slashing carbon emissions.
AR does not replace the physical world but complements it by overlaying virtual elements onto real
images. This integration allows users to interact with virtual elements within the context of their physical
environment.
Skill Development. The interactive nature of AR promotes the development of essential skills such as
critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. As students continue to engage with AR content, they
learn to apply these skills in real-world situations, better preparing them for future careers and personal
growth ...

PRos and cons

Pros- Enhanced Engagement and Motivation.

● Interactive Learning Environments.

● Accommodating Diverse Learning Styles.
● Safe and Controlled Learning Simulations.
● Immediate Feedback and Assessment.

cons-Privacy and Security Risks. ...

● Potential for Misuse and Distraction. ...
● Technological Limitations. ...
● Physical and Mental Health Concerns. ...
● Dependency on Technology. ...

AR enables the visualization of complex data, concepts, and information by overlaying relevant visuals,
charts, and 3D models onto real-world objects, making it easier for users to understand and grasp.

DATA ANALISIS

1. Enhanced Learning: Studies show AR boosts engagement and retention in educational settings
by up to 70%, making learning more effective and enjoyable.
2. Efficient Training: Industries using AR for training report up to 90% faster learning curves and
50% reduction in errors, enhancing workforce readiness.
3. Improved Navigation: AR-based navigation apps increase user efficiency by 30% compared to
traditional maps, enhancing urban mobility.
4. Sales Impact: Retailers using AR see up to a 40% increase in sales conversion rates due to
enhanced customer engagement and confidence in purchasing decisions.
5. Medical Advancements: AR-assisted surgeries demonstrate up to 20% reduction in surgery
times and 3x accuracy improvements, benefiting patient outcomes.
6. Enhanced Cultural Experiences: AR in tourism leads to 85% higher visitor engagement at
historical sites, enriching cultural understanding and preservation efforts.

These points illustrate how AR not only enhances experiences but also delivers tangible benefits across
education, industry, healthcare, and beyond.

Conclusion

Ar has improved our lives in many ways and is a very essential to live but we do have
to remember that We need to live in and enjoy the real world just as much even with
the high tech there is tyyyyy
