COMPLETION CEREMONY OF TUMAGA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

(APRIL 14, 2025)

INTRODUCTION:

ERIC: A wonderful morning, to all of us. Our ceremony is about to begin. So, we humbly ask
everyone to settle now and observe courtesy to maintain the solemnity of this occasion. May
we request all our guests to please set their mobile phone to silent mode. During the
presentation of completers, we also encourage everyone to express your pride by
applauding. We would also like to remind the parents that we have an official photographer.
Roaming around to take pictures is forbidden while the ceremony is ongoing. You may do it
after. Thank you!

At this point, may we invite all our completers together with their parents to go to your
respective areas for the processional.

JONAH: Completion Ceremony is always a day of rejoicing for it marks the conclusion of a four-
year educational journey and the beginning of another uncertain and more difficult part of
man’s quest for better life and future.

ERIC: Today, another history slowly unfolds as we come to an end of the school year
2024-2025. It’s been almost 10 months already that we have witnessed how these
students proved their worth to become a member of this year’s completion.

JONAH: Ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon, and welcome to the 5 t h Moving Up
Ceremony of TUMAGA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL with the theme,

BOTH: “Henerasyon ng Pagkakaisa: Kaagapay sa Bagong Pilipinas”.

I. PROCESSIONAL

ERIC: To begin with, let us all witness the processional led by the Grand Marshall with the School
Mace!

JONAH: With so much cheer, let us laud the completers as they march towards the venue
together with their proud parents and guardian.

ERIC: Let us welcome the candidates for completion starting off with Grade 10 – Aguinaldo.

JONAH: Next, we have the Grade 10 - Bonifacio.

ERIC: Coming in, the Grade 10 – Quezon.

JONAH: To complete the list, we have the Grade 10 - Rizal.

BOTH: Presenting the honor students of batch 2024-2025. A resounding


applause, Please!

ERIC: Let us all stand as we give a warm welcome to the pillars of this institution:

JONAH: The distinguished and highly esteemed members of the faculty of Tumaga National
High School.

ERIC: Starting with the Grade 7 Curriculum led by the curriculum coordinator Ms. Vivian P. De
Leon.

JONAH: Next in line are the teachers of Grade 8 Curriculum led by their curriculum coordinator,
Ms. Rheena Gay B. Nadela.

ERIC: Approaching the aisle are the Grade 9 Teachers led by their curriculum assistant
coordinator, Ms. Ria Joy A. Villafranca.

JONAH: Now, we have the Grade 10 Teachers led by the Grade 10 Coordinator, Ms. Shela R.
Siason.

ERIC: Let us welcome as well the DepEd Officials and stakeholders in education!

JONAH: Starting with, Schools Division Superintendent, Doctor Majarani M. Jacinto, CESO V.
On her representative, Ms. Jane Dela Torre, Education program Supervisor Surrogate
Supervisor of Sta. Maria District.

Public Schools District Supervisor, Doctor Eduardo V. Ibañez,

Chief SGOD, Dr. Basilio Uy

ERIC: Next, we have our Barangay Officials led by our active Barangay Chairperson, Hon.
Jacqueline J. Lim together with our Barangay Councilor, Hon. Renante C. Javier.

GPTA Officers represented by the President, Ms. Edwina Dela Pena.

JONAH: To complete the list, our Secondary School Teacher, Mr. Alimar I. Barahim, together
with our guest speaker, Matthew P. Alvarez.

II. ENTRANCE OF THE COLORS

ERIC: At this moment, ladies and gentlemen, let us witness the entrance of the colors.

III - V. PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ANTHEM/ PRAYER/ ZAMBOANGA HERMOSA HYMN

JONAH: Let us pay homage to our beloved nation and divine grace as we unite in the singing
of the Philippine National Anthem, to be followed by the prayer to be led by Ms. Nina Angelina
R. Niones, With Honors, and the singing of the Zamboanga Hermosa Hymn.

ERIC: You may now be seated.

VI. WELCOME REMARKS

ERIC: To formally welcome us all to this completion ceremony, let us put our hands together for
Mr. Charles Dino S. Rivera, With Honors.

JONAH: Thank you, Mr. Rivera, for that heart-warming welcome speech!

VII - VIII. PRESENTATION & CERTIFICATION OF COMPLETERS; ACCEPTANCE & CONFIRMATION


OF THE COMPLETERS

JONAH: And now, the most significant moment in every completion ceremony has come. May
we call on Mr. Alimar I. Barahim, our School Head for the presentation and certification

of completers. This is to be followed by the acceptance and confirmation by Ms. Jane Dela
Torre, Education program Supervisor Surrogate Supervisor of Sta. Maria District.

ERIC: Thank you, Sir Barahim and Ma’am Dela Torre, and Congratulations to our completers!

IX. INTRODUCTION OF THE SPEAKER

JONAH: Success is not final. All we need is courage to continue; and the inspiration to move
forward. Now, let us welcome Mr. Crisanto F. Uro, Secondary School Teacher I to introduce to
us our guest speaker. A round of applause, please!

X. MEASSAGE

ERIC: That was indeed a very meaningful speech, Sir Matthew and we are very grateful of your
presence in this momentous event. Despite limitations, our guest speaker have proven that
excellence is never impossible with hard work and determination.

XI. AWARDING OF THE PLAQUE OF APPRECIATION TO THE GUEST SPEAKER

JONAH: Please remain on stage, ma’am to receive the Plaque of appreciation to be awarded
by Sir Alimar Barahim, Ma’am Jane Dela Torre and Doctor Eduardo V. Ibañez. Allow me to
read the citation.

ERIC: Let us give our guest speaker a big round of applause!

XII. AWARDING OF SPECIAL AWARDS & MEDALS TO THE HONOR STUDENTS

JONAH: Every battle won deserves recognition. We shall now have the awarding of honors
and special awards to those students who walked an extra mile. These certificates serve as
tangible symbols of recognition for their outstanding accomplishments and serve as a reminder
of their dedication and perseverance.

ERIC: The first award to be given is the Sports award. These certificate and medal recognize
the exceptional achievements of our students in the field of sport.

Certificate of Recognition is awarded to Jaypee – with Bronze medal.

Congratulations!

JONAH: To call the names of the honor students, ladies and gentlemen, let us welcome our
Grade 10 Curriculum Coordinator, Shela R. Siason.

ERIC: Let us give a resounding round of applause once more to all our deserving awardees.
Your hard work, determination, and commitment to excellence have truly paid off.
Congratulations on your remarkable and well-deserved achievements and to the proud
parents as well!

XIII. DISTRIBUTION OF CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION

ERIC: After four years of hard work and dedication, completers, it is about time to reward your
commitment towards education. This is now the fruit of each student’s endeavor. Hence,
we shall now have the distribution of certificates of completion.

JONAH: With this, may we invite again our Education Program Supervisor, Ms. Jane Della Torre
to present the certificates of completion and to be assisted by our School Head, Sir Albert G.
Villanueva.

ERIC: Let’s begin with Grade 10 – Aguinaldo.

JONAH: The next set of completers are from Grade 10 – Bonifacio.

ERIC: Next in line are from Grade 10 - Mabini.

JONAH: The next set of completers are from Grade 10 – Bonifacio.

ERIC: Finally, to complete the list, we now have our completers from Grade 10 – Rizal.
Adviser: Ms. Arlene Gail D. Esperat

JONAH: Congratulations, completers! The fruit of your perseverance is in your hands already.
May the knowledge, skills and values you have acquired, coupled with your determination, will
serve as the foundation for your future endeavors. And may your achievements today be a
source of inspiration as you continue to pursue excellence in all your future undertakings.

XIV. WORDS OF GRATITUDE

ERIC: Every success is built on the support and kindness of others. Let us give a hand to Ms.
Princess Ann M. Dolosa, With Honors to express gratitude on behalf of her batch.

JONAH: Thank you so much, Ms. Dolosa for sharing your stories behind this remarkable success.

XV: PLEDGE OF LOYALTY

Pledge of loyalty led by Raizzel D. Abrenica (With Honors, Grade 10-Bonifacio)

JONAH: Once again, a round of applause to the completers, batch of 2024 – 2025!

XV. COMPLETION SONG

JONAH: In every memorable moment of one’s life, there are always songs that will embody
inferred emotions. With a round of applause, let us welcome the completers as they present a
rendition of their completion song entitled “We’re all in this together”.

ERIC: Thank you so much. Completers! Indeed, keep on dreaming and make it happen! 😊

XVII - XVIII. TRIBUTE TO THE PARENTS & SCHOOL HYMN

JONAH: And now ladies and gentlemen, we are about to witness our dear completers who pay
homage to their parents for all the sacrifices and love shown to them. Let us give them a round
of applause for their tribute song entitled “Pangarap kong Pangarap Mo”. Followed by the
singing of School Hymn.

ERIC: Thank you so much, completers for the heartfelt rendition of “Pangarap kong
Pangarap Mo” and singing with so much pride of our school hymn. You may now take your
seat!

XIX. CLOSING REMARKS

JONAH: As we about to conclude this significant milestone, may we call back on stage our
School Head, Mr. Alimar I. Barahim for his closing remarks. A warm round of applause please!

ERIC: Thank you so much, Sir Alimar!

JONAH: The closing hour has finally arrived. This Completion Ceremony has truly been
noteworthy for everyone here. It is indeed a time of taking a big step in your lives as students.
It is also a time of celebration of achievement and most importantly, a beginning for each of
you here.

ERIC: Let us carry the spirit of our accomplishments within us. Let us continue to learn,
contribute, and serve our community and our nation. May the light of our achievements guide
us along our paths.

BOTH: Once again, our warm congratulations to all the completers. Mabuhay kayong lahat!

XXI. RECESSIONAL

JONAH: We would like to request everyone to please stand for the exit of the colors!

ERIC: Followed by the exit of our guest speaker, DepEd Officials, and Barangay Officials.

JONAH: The exit of the school head together with the faculty.

ERIC: Completers, stay for awhile for the class pictorial. Thank you.
