I hope this flyer finds you all well. It’s time again to pass the Presidential baton. These last 2 years have
gone by so fast. It was an honor to serve as your president of the SSCT. No president can fulfill his duties
effectively without the support and guidance of a board who’s willing to step up and make some hard
decisions at times. We as a club are very lucky to have members who are willing to do so. Our club is
vibrant and financially sound.
I would like to thank the Board and the members who have volunteered to keep this club moving in the
right direction. We have a lot of talented members that we can pull ideas from and that is much
appreciated. Most of all I would like to thank my wife Michellynn and my family who have been there
every step of the way.
We welcome Mr. Joe Deck as the incoming president. I want to thank him for volunteering to run for the
position. He is well versed in the ongoings at the park and will make a great president. Goodbye for now
and see you at the Park.
Prost,
Grüezi:
Thank you for entrusting me in this position and for the opportunity to lead your Club over the next two
years. Thank you for your support and help in making our Club one of the best and most enjoyable parks
on the West Coast. Thank you to the past & current board members who meet regularly and tirelessly to
ensure our club continues with its ongoing success and accomplishments in providing enjoyment for all
who enter our park. A special thank you to all past presidents of our club who have set a high standard,
especially our most recent -- Gary Inglin, along with Michelle Lynn by his side, have done an outstanding
job over the last couple of years including the continued input and guidance from Willie Schatz. Finally, a
huge thank you to all the volunteers who make this Club function and who support the ongoing events
throughout the year - we could never be so successful and the Club we are without you.
As the holidays and winter months fade behind, we look forward to spring and the many upcoming events
at the park. Fondue Dinner and Mannerchor will be Saturday, April 12th and Easter Ham Shoot the
following day. Both events always attract a lot of friends and family so get your tickets now by contacting
Greg Vesey at 253.678.4924. Also, make sure your calendars have the Spring Schwingfest marked for
Saturday, June 28th as this will be the kickoff of Schwingfest season on the west coast.
As incoming president, I look forward to the opportunities and challenges ahead. With CC and family at
my side, along with your continued support we will build on our strong heritage, membership and
foundation into the future. Do not hesitate to reach out or contact me with your concerns, thoughts or
ideas.
