When operating at low or very low feed rates, certain functions of
the cylinder oil may not perform as intended.
Experience has shown that cleaning may become an issue when
realizing low cylinder oil feed rates, especially when also using low

Delta-timing combines multi-timing and the automatic


cleaning sequence providing the ultimate flexibility!
Delta-timing allows for optimum distribution and
quantity at any given instance, providing automatic

- Experiencing high wear rates and corrosive wear
Feed rate reduction to 0.75 g/kWh
- Down from 1.36 g/kWh
Scavenge port inspections show good cylinder condition
- Calcium deposits have been observed, but have been reduced after a
reduction in feed rate
Current inspections and SDA reports indicate the possibility of even
lower feed rate
Common rail is the future of cylinder lubrication, just as it is now the
norm for fuel injection
