Delegation of New Zealand
Solutions
To enhance global pandemic preparedness, New Zealand proposes
three key solutions. First, the delegation emphasizes the need for
stronger international coordination in pandemic early warning
systems, ensuring rapid data sharing and response mechanisms
through WHO-led platforms. Second, New Zealand advocates for
equitable vaccine distribution by supporting initiatives such as
COVAX, ensuring that low-income nations receive timely access to
essential medical supplies. Lastly, the country highlights the
importance of investing in healthcare infrastructure, particularly in
underserved regions, to build resilience against future outbreaks. By
strengthening international cooperation and prioritizing scientific
advancements, WHO and its member states can develop a more
effective and unified global response to pandemics.
