Objective/s:
1. Explore the characteristics of Zener diode and observe its behavior when
used as voltage regulator.
Theory:
Zener diodes are special types of diodes that are designed to operate in the reverse
breakdown region. When the voltage across a Zener diode is greater than the
specified breakdown voltage (𝑉𝑍), the diode conducts and regulates the voltage
across it. As such, Zener diode can be used as voltage regulators.

Recommendation/s:
We think it's better to go for a digital multimeter over an analog one since it gives
more precise readings for voltage, current, and resistance. Accuracy matters a lot
for trustworthy data, and digital displays prevent reading mistakes that can occur
with analog scales. Also, using an adjustable button voltage on the power supply
instead of fixed ones is a smart choice. It helps us get a better grip on how the
current moves in the circuit and offers a clearer picture of its intended use.
