longer in demand. When he walked in the street, he smelled an attractive
aroma from the kitchen of the royal palace. The old man wanted to enter, and he
was a clever person. He found a stone when the chef was going out of the kitchen,
and it was the key to achieving his purpose.
So, the old man told the chef that he could prepare a Stone Soup. It was strange,
but the wandering man did it. The chef discovered the deception after the old man
was eating the delicious soup that contained many other ingredients. So, the chef
asked the king of that kingdom to kill the lying man. Before the king gave his
order, the old man revealed his identity. He was a storyteller, and his majesty
decided to hire the witty old man for a year. There was a condition: the storyteller
would die if he didn’t have a story or tale to tell.
The last day of the year came, and the storyteller didn’t have a story or tale to tell
the king. He was wrong because he didn’t know what to do. Many bad things
happened on that day. He lost his money and wife in a beat with a homeless man.
He became a flea. Then, he saw the homeless man was doing. After that, he
opened his eyes and realized that everything was a dream. Finally, the storyteller
visited the king to tell the last story.

A Moment in History

On November 4th, I arrived in Chicago late in the evening. I wanted to

photograph Barack Obama and his family at the convention center, but when I
got there, I discovered that I didn’t have my press pass and I couldn't go
inside. I walked around the park outside the center. Although it was
November, it was a warm night. The atmosphere was wonderful. When I took
this photo, everybody was looking at the TV screens, waiting for the election
results. Some people were quietly holding hands and smiling, while others were
tense and nervous. They felt that it was their moment. Suddenly, I realized
that this was a better place to be than inside. I was watching Obama’s victory
through the faces of all these people:African, Hispanic, Chinese and white. At
about 11 o’clock, the results were announced, and everybody went crazy.
People started laughing, shouting, and crying. But when Obama made his
speech, they all became quiet and emotional. There was only one place to be
on the planet that night – and I was there.
