INSTRUCTIONS
1. All working should be saved in a folder with your Admission number as the folder name
2. Within this folder should be other three folders namely MS WORD, EXCEL and
POWERPOINT.
4. You should present your projects for marking in a compact disc (CD), write your name and
admission number on the compact disc
Nairobi County intends to implement an information technology hub, you have been asked to
write a 5 page report to the national government press in favour of the motion. The report
should be in support of implementing the information technology hub in the region. The
following specifications should be met:
i) All topics and subtopics should be bold and underlined, with a font size of 17”. The rest
of the font should have a font size of 12”
ii) Using headers and footers, include the system date at the top right and page numbers on
the bottom center
iii) Page two should have a Landscape orientation. On this page, include a tabular
representation of the possible financial implications of implementing the technology
hub (atleast 5 columns and 7 rows)
iv) Use word arts of your choice to write the topics on page 3

v) The forth page should have pictures within text, use suitable text wrapping and picture
layouts to position the pictures as either in text, or behind text.
The use spreadsheet makes it easier to perform data organization and computation.

branches. Consider the tables below showing the stock details and compute the financial
implications. Save your workbook as “Mapato”

iii) On a different worksheet (Performance), create four columns namely, “Student name”,
“Totals”, “Average score” and “Grade”
iv) Calculate the average mark for each student
v) Use the formula Totals = average score * # of units to fill the totals
vi) Indicate the grade for each student using the criteria: More than “70” = “A” between 60 and 70
= “B” , between 50 and 60 = “C” less than that = “F”
vii) Add a chart(in a separate worksheet) showing the student performance, indicating the students
name and average mark scored
