use a lot of pins and take your time. If you find you
are not happy with your results after attaching the

Slst to fasten off. Hide yarn tail inside the head.
Stuff the head firmly. Find the 2 sets of Dec’s on Rd 15. Place a pin in the middle Dec on both sides. This is
going to help with attaching the nose pieces. See picture above for guidance
Second section
Rd 4: Reattach the yarn to the first available stitch on Rd 3, Sc x6 (6)
Rd 5 to 11: Sc around (6) 7 rounds
Fasten off leaving an extra long yarn tail for attaching. Close off hole.
Second section.
Rd 4: Reattach yarn to the first available stitch on Rd 3, Inc x5 (10)
Attaching the nose Starting with the back piece. The top of the nose ( Rd 1 ) sits on Rd 13 of the head. Pin in
place. Spread out the 2 sections a little so the bottom ( Rd 11 ) sits on Rd 20 of the head and pin in place. There
should be approx 10 stitch space between the two and 3 stitches away from the pins placed on Rd 15 on the
head.
With the extra long yarn tail attach the back piece to the head around the outside only.
Now to attach the front piece on top. Line up the front piece with the back ( making sure the side which you
sewed together is to the back ) you want the top piece to sit so you can see the back piece alittle. See pictures
below for guidance O nly sew around the outer edge with the long yarn tail.
Mouth
Rd 1: working in a MR, Sc x6 (6)
Rd 2: ( Sc x2, Inc ) x2 (8)
Slst, cut yarn leaving a yarn tail.
To attach the mouth, place it so it is sitting just under the nose and sew it in place. S ee pictures above for
guidance
With the black cotton sew the nose. Bring the needle out between the two nose pieces in the center. Make your
first stitch vertically down 3 rounds. Then continue making vertical lines to each side until you have the desired
nose shape. To finish off, make one or two vertical stitches down the center of the nose. See pictures below for
guidance
Attaching the ears WITHOUT FACE PATCHES The ears are attached roughly on Rd 4 to 12 on each side of
the head, approx 4 to 5 stitches from the eyes. Make sure they have a nice curve so that the ears point up like
“bat wings”
Attaching the ears WITH FACE PATCH/ES The ears should curve around the top of the patch. Pin them
around the edge on approx Rd 4 of the head with the outer corner sitting up onto the patch slightly. Make sure
they have a nice pointy ears so the look like “bat wings” See pictures below for guidance

Stuff the body firmly. On Rd 27 find the middle of the Dec’s and place a pin here. This will help indicate the
center of the chest and when attaching the legs. See pictures above for guidance
Attach the head to the body, adding more stuffing if needed, making sure the pin in the chest is centered with
the face.
Attaching the legs Keep the marker in the center of the chest on Rd 27 ( middle Dec ). Pin the legs to the
body with the top on Rd 27 of the body, the inside of the legs are approx 6 stitches away from the pin/marker.
Make sure the legs are straight with the pin facing forward. Rd 13 of the leg should line up with Rd 16 of the
body. Sew the top part of the legs only to the body, down to round 17 See pictures below for guidance
Attaching the back legs Flatten the thigh part of the leg. When attaching the back legs you want the feet to
sit snug against the front legs. The top of the thighs sound sit on Rd 18 of the body and the bottom part on Rd 7.
You should have a space of approx 7 stitches along the back. Sit your frenchie on a flat surface before sewing
to make sure the legs are in your desired position, making sure it sits flat. Sew around the thigh part only. See
pictures below for guidance
Tail
Rd 1: working in a MR, Sc x8 *8
Rd 2: ( Sc x3, Inc ) x2 *10
Slst, cut yarn leaving a long yarn tail.
To attach the tail sit your frenchie on a flat surface and first pin in place to your desired position before
attaching.
