XIII. Strategies and Methods of Implementation

Aetas Empowered Through Act of Service is an initiative aimed at empowering

the indigenous Aeta community in the Philippines through acts of service. Here are some
strategies and methods that can be used to implement this initiative effectively.

Partnership with Aeta community leaders

● To ensure that the initiative is relevant and responsive to the needs of the Aeta
community,it is important to partner with Aeta community leaders from the
outset. This will involve engaging with these leaders to understand the challenges
that their community faces,as well as their aspirations for the future.

Needs Assessment

● Once the partnership with Aeta community leaders is established, the next step is
to conduct a needs assessment. This will involve gathering information about the
social, economic, health, and educational needs of the Aeta community. This
information will guide the design and implementation of the initiative.

Design and Planning

● Based on the results of the needs assessment,a design and planning phase will be
undertaken. This phase will involve developing a roadmap for the initiative that
outlines the key activities, timelines, and resources required. It will also involve
developing a monitoring and evaluation plan to assess the impact of the initiative.

Capacity Building

● It is a critical component of any initiative aimed at empowering communities. In

the case of the Aeta community, capacity building activities may include sessions
about education, business, finance and activities that will engage in environmental
and social activities.

Service Delivery

● Once the capacity of the Aeta community has been built, the initiative can move
into the service delivery phase. This will involve providing services such as
healthcare, education, and livelihood support to the Aeta community. The services
provided will be based on the identified needs used to inform ongoing
improvements to the initiative.

INTERNATIONAL HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
Brgy. Namunga, Rosario, Batangas

Sustainability

● The sustainability of the initiative will depend on the level of ownership that the
aeta community has over the activities. It is important to work with the
community to develop sustainable models for service delivery and to support the
development of local leadership and ownership. This will ensure the initiative can
continue to support the Aeta community long after the project has ended.

Through the strategies and methods that the project will utilize and apply
throughout the period of implementation to produce successful development outcomes .
This will serve as a line of action in the execution of the project activity. From the first
day until to the last day of planned implementation this will continue for a sustainable
project through the help of both internal and external partners involved.

To establish the monitoring and evaluation mechanics for the project "AETAS

objectives of the project. This will help determine what needs to be monitored and

objectives, identify KPIs that will help measure progress and determine if the
project has achieved its intended impact.
● Develop a Monitoring and Evaluation Plan: Develop a plan that outlines the
monitoring and evaluation activities, including what data to collect, how often to

● Establish a Baseline: Collect data before the project begins to establish a baseline
for the project. This will help track progress and determine the success of the
project.
● Monitor Progress: Regularly monitor progress against the KPIs outlined in the
Monitoring and Evaluation Plan. This will help identify any issues or challenges
that need to be addressed.
● Evaluate the Project: Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the project at the
end of the project period. This will help determine if the project has achieved its
goals and objectives.
● Use the Results: Use the results of the monitoring and evaluation activities to
inform decision-making and improve future project planning.

For the "AETAS EMPOWERED THROUGH ACT OF SERVICE" project, some

potential KPIs to consider include:

● Number of Aetas community members who have received training and support
through the project

of the school university, its volunteers and external providers there will be sufficient
materials and financial support that will sustain the project and possible to attain the
long-term proposed project.

And for the future project proponents that will also propose the same type of
project to Aeta Community, this proposed plan and operations of the activity will serve as
an instrument and guidance to enhance the provided opportunities and activities for the
