Second Exam of English

Dear Olivia, Hi, I hope you all are doing well! You have asked me about my memories when I was a child. I am
really happy to send you this letter about my childhood. When I was a kid, I was a calm, kind, and very shy girl. My
family and I lived in a small village in Washington. I used to play the piano, read books, and sometimes watch
cartoons with my brothers. At the weekend, we used to go to our grandmother's house. We cannot forget those
moments we spent there. We really enjoyed our time because our grandmother used to tell us funny jokes. Besides,
we used to go on long walks around the countryside where we saw amazing sightseeing and met kind people.
In addition, one of my best souvenirs was my first day at school. I was about six years old when my father took
me to school for the first time. I was so excited but a little bit stressed since all the children were unknown to me.
After a short time, the teacher welcomed us and invited everyone to introduce themselves. Then, we knew each
other, and we enjoyed playing different games that the teacher had prepared for us. It was a great day that I will
never forget. My childhood was really wonderful and simple. These memories fill my heart with joy and happiness.
It was one of the best moments of my life.
Yours truly, Emily

Dear Sarah,
Thank you for asking about my childhood! I was a cheerful and energetic kid who loved being outdoors. I
enjoyed playing football with my friends and riding my bike around the neighborhood. I was also very curious and
always asking questions about everything! One of my best memories is the time I spent with my grandparents
during summer holidays. They told me amazing stories and taught me how to cook simple dishes. However, I also
remember feeling sad when I had to move to a new school and leave my old friends behind. It was difficult at the
beginning, but I eventually made new friends.
Childhood was a mix of laughter and tears, but it taught me so much.
