terpasang kemudian dengan mencari file bios apdater(VERSI
YANG LEBIH TINGGI)memperbaikinya cukup dengan
mengupdated dengan data yang terbaru tersebut diatas.
Download file exe jalankan programe,ikuti perintah selanjutnya
pada program updater yang telah dijalankan.penting untuk
memastikan battery dan adapter terpasang .jika kekurangan power
proses updated bios akan gagal.
Untuk bios yang sudah tidak bisa masuk /booting windows,dapat
melakukan updated pada bios tersebut dengan booting melalui dos
updated dengan menggunakan boot disket atau flashdisk.cara
updated mungkin saja berbeda pada setiap merk atau seri laptop
terutama untuk louncing boot key order.sebagai contoh untuk laptop
acer aspire one boot bios updated dengan menggunakan key
fn+esc ,laptop Compaq dengan menggunakan key windows+B dan
laptop toshiba dengan menggunakan ctrl+U key.
Jika updater gagal pada kedua metoda diatas,dapat melakukan
erase/menghapus data bios yang lama dan mengganti/flashing data
yang baru atau jika bios chip crash/rusak dapat juga dengan
melepas bios ic(soic8 atau 16 kaki pada kebanyakan laptop
motherboard).

Kedua alternatif diatas membutuhkan alat khusus untuk melakukan

pemograman ulang/reflashing bios yaitu dengan menggunakan alat
yang disebut dengan eprom programer.sebuah perangkat hardware
dengan menggunakan usb atau serial port interface dan dijalankan
oleh softeare khusus seperti: flash centre,spi flash dan lain-lain
tergantung manufaktur yang memproduksi e prom programer
tersebut.biasanya sudah menyediakan software tertentu untuk
masing masing product mereka.

Pada dasarnya cara pemograman/reflashing bios chip tidak ada
pebedaan yang signifikan.semakin mahal perangkat yang dimiliki
biasa memiliki fitur yang lebih banyak dan lebih mudah dalam
menggunakannya.
