ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS – SSB (KOLKATA)

THE CANDIDATES ARE TO ADHERE TO UNDER MENTIONED INSTRUCTIONS IN

ADDITION TO THOSE MENTIONED IN CALL UP LETTER:-

1. ESSENTIAL DOCUMENTS Candidates, you must carry following documents while

reporting to SSB (KOL): -
(a) Copy of call up letter
(b) Change of date e-mail print out (if applied for change of date)
(c) Copy of application form
(d) Copy of risk certificate duly filled (Paced at Appendix ‘A’).
(e) Copy of 10th Mark Sheet and certificate both
(f) Copy of 12th Mark Sheet and certificate both
(g) Copy of all Semester wise Mark Sheet of BE/ B-TECH and final degree
certificate.
(h) Bonafide Certificate for the candidates those who are pursuing BE/ B.Tech and
result not declared to furnish certificate as placed at Appendix ‘B’. The certificate
should mentioned that the final degree will be completed prior 20 Jun 2025
signed by the Competent Authority of the Institution.
(j) Hard copy of Tickets (both side), cancelled cheque and front page of Passbook.
If somebody performs his journey by flight he has to submit both tickets and
boarding pass also.
(k) Details of two Gazetted Officer for verification of character as per Appendix ‘C’.
(l) Self certificate on tattoo as per Appendix ‘D’.
(m) Custodian certificate for the candidates those who are not carrying their
original certificates / marksheets as required, as per Appendix ‘E’ duly signed by the
custodian.
Note:- You have to produce original documents also for verification. In case of
failure to produce necessary documents at the time of reporting, the candidature will
stand cancelled and no representation will be accepted at any stage

2. In case of mismatch of self name and date of birth between application form and
matriculation certificate an affidavit for mismatch is required to be brought along.

3. Twenty latest passport size photographs not older than one week should be brought
and failure to produce the same at the time of reporting will result in cancellation of
candidature.(NB: The photograph should be clearly resembling the current
appearance of the candidate while coming for SSB interview including facial features
as well as spectacles if applicable).

4. Format of TA forms, No Risk Certificate, Bonafide Certificate, Tattoo Form and

Gazetted Officer details are sent as attachments to this mail. All the candidates should
take the print out of the same, has to be duly filled and brought along while coming for the
SSB. If travel is by air/bus, original boarding pass & hard copy of air/bus ticket along
with cancelled cheque is mandatory for claiming fare subject to maximum AC 3 tier fare
by shortest route.
5. No laundry facility will be provided by the selection board.

6. Candidates are advised to ensure that they do not carry any medication with them
including any generic medicine. Any medical assistance required will be provided at
selection centre.
7. In view of winters, all the candidates are advised to carry suitable warm
clothes (In addition to the dress code mentioned in para 6 of the call up letter).
Necessary winter bedding items (light blankets) also have to be carried by the
candidates themselves while coming for the SSB.

8. COMPLIANCE WITH ALL THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS IS MANDATORY.
