All personnel whose work could affect the HSE of the site must have, and maintain, the
necessary knowledge and skills to execute their job functions in a manner consistent
with the HSE norms of the site.
9. Information and Document Management :
Purpose of Information and Document Management ?
• Controlling required Documents
• Easily traceability
• Periodically reviewed, revised after regular interval.
Information and Document Management Records Responsibility ?
All the record relating to EMS including environment complaints, incident reports,
concerns and observations will be recorded and kept for at least five years.
Maintaining the ever green record is the responsibility of HSE section.
EMS documents which need to be controlled ?
• EMS Manual
• Work Procedure
• Work Instruction
• Job Description
• Document Master List

12. Stake Holder Engagement :

How Stake Holder are engaged w.r.t EMS :
• Identification of stakeholders that can be affected by Environmental degradation.
• Developing communication plan for information of environmental activities.
• Stakeholder's complaints and feedback with respect to environment will be properly documented and analyzed.
13. Environmental Management System :
Waste?
“Waste” means any substance or object which has been, is being or is
intended to be, discarded or disposed.
Type of Waste ?
Non Hazardous Waste e.g (Trash & Recyclable) Hazardous Waste e.g (
residual chemical )
Effluent / Emission / Solid waste:
• “Effluent” means any material in solid, liquid or gaseous form or in
combination being discharged from industrial activity or any other source
from plant.
• Air Emission e.g ( Boilers /furnace stacks etc)
• Noise Management ( Noise level at Plant different locations )
Liquid Effluent types:
• Compliant ( routed toward Industrial Drain )
