WHY: to practice our rhetorical analysis skills before moving to the next
text

WHERE: Our class work sessions will focus on this assignment but expect
to do additional work at home.

Instructions:

Follow the prompts below to analyze the poem “Diving into the Wreck” by
Adrienne Rich. Use the provided structure to guide your analysis and
ensure you address each component thoroughly.

You will be writing a small rhetorical analysis of the poem, creating an

 introductory paragraph with a thesis

There is no research requirement for this analysis. You are only working
