II. Reflections
III. Application of skills learned and proper values acquired in school
Training in a certain establishment related to my track. I was able to experience an
incredible journey at Iloilo City Hall Accountant’s Office. It is a company focusing on various
works specifically in municipal government. I started my journey last October 21,2019 and
was immediately caught on the hustle and bustle of the magic happening in the barangay
department. There, I get to observe what it’s like to be an employee. I learned that the office
department is subdivided into 7 smaller departments. I started my day in the barangay
department where I get to observe how to do filing the papers and arrange them accordingly.
On my second day, I’ve learn how to operate the photocopy machine. It was like a whole new
exciting world for me because the work there is more complicated and complex. I think the
hardest part was solving the taxes and loans of the different barangays.
But all in all, it was a fun and extraordinary experience. It served as my honing ground to be
consciously aware of what course to take. It also helped me develop as an individual with a
pure mindset. I have discovered that when in doubt do not hesitate to ask questions. There is
no room for error. Every move needs to be precise. To avoid making such mistakes,
clarification is a must. I was also able to improve my socialization skills. I’ve learned to be
more flexible toward change and culture differences. I can say that this 80 hour experience
will help me take better opportunities in the future. Someday, guided by the right people and
values, I will see myself wearing a white coat, serving the community with knowledge

SUMMARY
Having the immersion was really a good start to experience how does it feel to be in a
City of Accountants Office I am very much happy because working at the office is
one of my dream jobs in the near future and spending my immersion there, even in
just a short span of time had really opened my eyes on how fun at the same time,
stressful to be working at the office. So far, my experience there was fun at the same
time, I can say that it is also somewhat boring because most of my time was wasted
by sitting and waiting for nothing. Why? Because there are nine OJTs there, including
me. The five OJTs are graduating students from University of Iloilo. While the other
four are me and my classmates Syren, Angelique and Jessel. And because we were
that many, things to do are also divided but I have noticed that most of the work was
assigned to the 5 OJTs maybe because they came first rather than us, that means that
they already knew what to do and also they’re about to graduate that is why they
should experience more, than us. All you have to do is wait and be patient if there is
something that is assigned to you. After a few weeks of immersion, I have realized
some things that will really be useful for my future. First, punctuality is very essential
because in this simple way, you can how serious you are to your job, next would be
patience. Patience when it comes to the tasks that they’re going to give you, as well as
the times that you’re just waiting for the next task that will be given to you, even if
you already got bored waiting for nothing. And lastly, always poses a positive
Conclusion
To sum it all up, I am glad for another experiences that I will treasure the most. There,
I have experienced new things that aren’t familiar with the things I usually do at
