TECHNICIAN ELECTROMECHANIC

As an Electromechanical Technician in a gas compression and reinjection station, I was
responsible for maintaining and supervising high and low voltage electrical equipment,
including substations (400V, 5.5kV) and switchyards (60kV). My responsibilities included
diagnosing and resolving malfunctions using specialized testing tools, assembling, installing,
and maintaining electrical wiring and equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety
standards. I conducted annual inspections of electrical equipment to identify wear and carry
out necessary repairs. I also handled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and
calibration of digital and analog control systems, including steam and combustion turbines, as
well as GE 5001 gas turbines. Additionally, I managed the maintenance of Distributed Control
System (DCS) software, ensuring its updates and smooth operation, particularly for controlling
turbines and critical equipment via the Mark VI. I also performed protection relay tests using
the CMC 356 injection case to ensure their proper functioning and the safety of installations.
Finally, I maintained preventive maintenance and calibration schedules to ensure the
reliability and performance of electrical and control equipment.
