Subject: Meeting Outcomes & New Campus Regulations

(The following lab and campus timings will be followed from 18th
April 2025)

1. Library Access

●​ Extended Hours Trial: The library will now remain open until 12:00 AM (midnight) for a
30-day trial period.
●​ Vacate Promptly: All students must exit the library by 12:00 AM sharp.
●​ Monitoring: Security will conduct a 15-minute sweep post-midnight to ensure clearance.
●​ Outcome Review: If the trial period is incident-free, the administration may consider
further extension.
●​ Discipline: Any illegal or inappropriate behavior will invite strict disciplinary action.

2. Campus Grounds

●​ Access Window: Grounds will be accessible daily until 11:00 PM.


●​ Clear-Out: Please leave quietly and promptly at the closing time.

3. Faculty-Only Areas

●​ Night Restriction: No student entry is permitted in faculty residential areas after dusk.
●​ Enforcement: Security will patrol; violations will lead to immediate action.

4. Monitoring & ID Protocol

●​ Student Monitors: One monitor per 50 students will be assigned nightly.


●​ ID Submission: Students must submit a valid ID card at entry; it will be held by security
and returned at exit.
●​ Lab Access: This system may be implemented for late-night labs as well.

5. Disciplinary Compliance

●​ Zero Tolerance: Non-compliance or arguments with security staff will result in


immediate sanctions.
●​ Repeat Offenders: May face parental notification and revocation of access to
library/grounds.

6. Future Adjustments
●​ Feedback-Based: Positive reports from monitors and security may result in further
extension of hours.

7. Girls’ Hostel Delivery Services

●​ New Cut-off Time: Deliveries now allowed until 10:00 PM (previously 6:00 PM).
●​ Objective: To balance convenience with safety.

8. Hostel Maintenance & Amenities

●​ Washroom Cleaning: Daily deep-cleaning schedule initiated.


●​ PWD Facilities: Ramps, handrails, and special-needs provisions now being
implemented in each block.
●​ RO Water Purifiers: Installation underway across hostels; to be completed shortly.

9. Medical & Emergency Services​


9.1 Doctor Availability (IHC)

●​ 24×7 On-Call Roster: Doctors available round-the-clock via rotating shifts.


●​ Recruitment: Experienced medical officers are being onboarded.​
9.2 Ambulance Services
●​ Staffing: Both ambulances will have qualified medical attendants on board.
●​ Drivers: Two dedicated drivers per ambulance assigned.
●​ Training: Staff undergoing regular training for in-transit care.
●​ Hospital Tie-ups: Agreements in progress with a top-rated hospital (not United).
Refrigeration units on ambulances being upgraded for critical supply transport.

10. Grievance Redressal

●​ Faculty Misconduct: Any student who feels targeted unfairly by faculty may appeal to
the SASC Committee for quick redressal.

11. Girls’ Hostel Canteen Tender

●​ Tender Launched: The process for setting up a new night-canteen has begun.
●​ Student Input: Mess committee representatives are invited to inspect proposals and
give feedback.

12. Senate Review for Suspended Student

●​ A student who was suspended may be allowed to return. The final decision will be made
in the Senate meeting scheduled between 20th to 30th April 2025. Meanwhile, the
college is making efforts to facilitate the student's return, subject to the outcome of the
Senate meeting.
