Projectile Motion

Projectile motion is the motion of an object projected into the air, following a curved path due to gravity. It consists of horizontal and vertical dimensions, where horizontal motion has constant velocity and vertical motion experiences changing velocity. Both dimensions are independent of each other, and the overall motion follows a parabolic trajectory influenced by uniform acceleration.

Projectile Motion

Projectile motion
- it is a form of motion where an object given in an initial velocity is thrown or projected and is allowed
to be acted on by gravity in a curved-like path.

- a form of motion where an object moves in a parabolic path.

Horizontal Dimension
- motion of an object that is launched into the air

- it can go upward or downward.

- accelerated motion

- represents the horizontal distance between the beginning and end dimension points.

Vertical Dimension
- represents the vertical distance between the beginning and end dimension points.

Uniform Accelerated Motion

- this occurs when an object or body travels in a straight path, and its velocity increases by the same
amount every time interval.

More Speed in uniformly accelerated motion = Projectile Motion.

Parabolic Trajectory
- the middle top part of the projectile motion

Horizontal Motion
- velocity will stay constant

- time and distance changing as it moves.

Vertical Motion
- time and velocity constantly changes.

Vertical and Horizontal projectiles are independent to each other.
