I. FILL IN THE BLANKS:-
1. Kuwait is located in the Northern Western corner of the Arabian Gulf.
2. Shatt-al-Arab is the main source of fresh water flowing into the Arabian Gulf.
3. The cooler winds blowing from Siberia, Northern Russia is called Shamal.
4. The Kuwait Camel is dromedary with one hump.
5. The largest lizard is found in the Dhub.
6. Fiber from the date palm leaves can be made into coarse cloth.
7. Camels can live without water for days and without food for some months.

II. NAME THE FOLLOWING:-


1. Some migratory birds found in Kuwait:
A. Bee Eater, White Wagtail, Red Start.
2. Some creatures found in the sea shore:
A. Mud Skipper, Bristle Worm, Urchins.
3. Different kinds of pollution:
A. Land pollution, air pollution, sea pollution, noise pollution.
4. Some creatures found in the desert:
A. Black Scorpion, Camel Spider, Jirds and Gerbils.
5. Two important topographical features:
A. Jal Azzor Ridge, Wadi al Batin.
6. Factors which affected animal life in Kuwait:
A. Geology, climate, geography, migration.

III. DEFINE THE FOLLOWNG:-

1. Wadi: A dry river bed which will have water for a short time during rains.
2. Marine: All things to do with/on the sea.
3. Convectional: The movement of heat and moisture by air currents.
4. Coast Line: The land near the sea.
