During my 11th and 12th grades, I studied Computer Science, taught by one of the finest
teachers at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. His approach to teaching was unique—he
challenged us with thought-provoking coding problems and discouraged rote memorization.
In 12th grade, I worked on a Library Management System project in C++, which marked the
beginning of my genuine interest in coding and computer science.
After school, I aspired to pursue my undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution, but I
couldn’t make it at that time. However, right from the first year of college, I dedicated myself
to building a strong foundation in core subjects, especially those covered in the GATE
syllabus. Simultaneously, I explored web development and began integrating 3D models into
websites using tools like Blender and Three.js, which helped me develop both technical and
creative thinking.
I also interned at BetterPlus Technologies, a company providing web services. This
experience gave me practical exposure to building scalable applications and
understanding the real-world challenges of software development. It also taught me the
importance of teamwork, rigorous testing, and iterative improvement—skills that are
essential for any software engineer.
Though I missed the opportunity to study at a premier institute during my undergraduate
years, I was determined to change that. I prepared for the GATE examination with full focus
and cracked it with the goal of pursuing higher education at a world-class institution like IIT
Bombay. The intellectually stimulating environment at IIT Bombay—filled with curious and
driven students, dedicated professors, and cutting-edge resources—perfectly aligns with
my academic and professional goals. I believe that being part of such a vibrant academic
community will not only provide me with better infrastructure and mentorship but also help
me grow through peer-to-peer learning and collaboration.
I am confident that a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT
Bombay will help me refine my skills, broaden my perspective, and enable me to
contribute meaningfully to research and development in this field. I look forward to the
opportunity to learn, innovate, and grow at one of India’s finest institutions.
