PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project aims to promote sustainable and inclusive tourism by
integrating environmental conservation, cultural preservation, and
community engagement. It seeks to develop tourism practices that
benefit local communities, ensure equal opportunities for marginalized
groups, and minimize negative environmental impacts.
Tourism is a major driver of economic growth but
often leads to social and environmental
challenges, such as displacement of local
communities, cultural erosion, and ecological
degradation. Many communities, especially
marginalized groups, do not fully benefit from

CONTEXT tourism revenue. Sustainable Inclusive Tourism
(SIT) addresses these issues by fostering a
balance between economic benefits,
environmental protection, and social equity. The
project aligns with global sustainable tourism
principles and national/local development plans.

OBJECTIVES
1. Promote environmentally responsible tourism practices.
2. Ensure active participation and economic benefits for local and marginalized
communities.
3. Protect and preserve cultural heritage and traditions.
4. Develop inclusive tourism policies and guidelines.
5. Enhance tourist awareness and engagement in sustainable tourism
practices.

THE EXPECTED OUTPUTS ARE THE FOLLOWING:


Development of eco-friendly tourism infrastructure.

METHODS AND APPROACHES
This Project will be achieve through the help of CSSC officers, Faculty &
Staff in Asbury College and the support of our dearest students. Every year of
College Department are required to bring their own recyclables and reuseable
trashes. The school CSSC officers will conduct a monthly checking for one
school year. Who ever sells the most will be given a prize while those who
do not follow the policy will be given a penalty with a cost of 3,000 pesos

MONITORING AND EVALUATION
This project will be overall managed by the CSSC officers and the advisers
per majors will assist their students for the activities to ensure that they are

really responsible and if they really following the policies that are for the
good of the school where they are studying.
SUSTAINABILITY PLAN OF THE PROJECT
This project will be done monthly as to supervise the progress of the
students regarding on how to value their trashes. The CSSC officers should also
check it from time to time if they really do their parts in collecting their trashes. If
there is a class who will not follow the policy then they will have a penalty worth
3,000 pesos
