QUESTION 1 (Triple Integrals)

1. Evaluate the integral E (xy + z2 )dV, where E = {(x, y, z)|0 ≤ x ≤ 2, 0 ≤ y ≤ 1, 0 ≤ z ≤ 3}
using three different orders of integration.

4. Midpoint Rule for Triple Integrals: In the Midpointle Rule for triple integrals we use a
triple Riemmann summ to approcmate a triple integral over a box B, where f (x, y, z) is
evaluated at the center (x̄i , ȳ j , z̄k ) of the box Bi jk . Use the Mid point rule to estimate the
value of the integral. Divide B into eight (8) sub-boxes of equal size.

1. Find the image of the set S under the given transformation.

2. Find the Jacobian of the transformation

(a) x = 2u + v; y = 4u − v
