Step 1 (Greeting and Purpose of Video Call)

Good morning/afternoon/evening, my name is Resti and I am a Representative Broker from


PT International Business Futures. Is this Mr./Ms. X?
We are contacting you regarding your plan to engage in futures trading with our company.
This process is called Pre-Account Opening, and for mutual convenience, this process will be
recorded. May I ask for a moment of your time?
Before we begin, we need to confirm whether you are in good health today?
Have you installed the IBFtrader and Metatrader 4 applications on your device?

Step 2 (Confirm Email and Demo Account)

 I need to confirm that Passport number __________ is indeed yours?


 I also need to confirm whether the email ________ is your personal email and you
know the password?

If it's not a personal email:


If the email is not personal or was created by our company on your behalf, we must
end this call because it does not comply with our SOP. Thank you for your time,
Mr./Ms. X. (Reject)

Step 3 (Provide Company Profile and Futures Products Information)

 May I know how much you plan to deposit?


You will deposit through a separate account/segregated account monitored by
BAPPEBTI (The Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency in
Indonesia). Every transaction you make will be registered at BBJ(Jakarta Futures
Exchange) and guaranteed by KBI(Indonesian clearing House) for liquidity. In our
company, you can trade various products on both bilateral and multilateral exchanges.

If the deposit is less than the minimum:


Sorry, Mr./Ms. X, as of January 2023, the minimum deposit for futures trading at our
company is 20 million IDR. Please submit another request for a face-to-face meeting
after discussing this with our partner who contacted you. (Reject)
If they mention they’ve already transferred:
According to our company's SOP, the transfer of funds/margin is made after you
complete the online registration system. Regarding your statement, we need to check
with the relevant department first.

Step 4 (Provide Information on Restrictions)


I will inform you about some restrictions while you are engaging in futures trading with our
company:

1. You are prohibited from providing access codes and/or daily transaction reports to
others.

 Are you planning to share your transaction access codes and password with anyone?

2. You are prohibited from offering or accepting offers for fixed income or profit-
sharing.
 Has anyone offered this to you?

3. You are prohibited from providing power of attorney and/or entering into any
agreements outside the application you will fill in.

 Do you understand and agree with these restrictions?

4. All funds/margins must be personal funds; using someone else’s funds, joint funds, or
funds derived from money laundering is prohibited.

 Is it true that these funds come from your personal funds?

If they are unwilling:

Step 5 (Provide Information on Account Opening, Risk Notification, and Mandate


Agreement)
Please note that all data entered in this online registration system MUST be filled out by you
personally, not by any representative. Do you understand, Mr./Ms. X?

I will explain the documents you will fill in on the online registration system.

1. First, you will be presented with our company's profile. This is information that we
are required to provide to new client.
2. Second, you will fill in a statement confirming you have completed a Futures Trading
Simulation and have experience in futures trading, which requires you to fill in the
demo account number.

 Have you done a trading simulation on the demo account? Which product did you
trade?
 The purpose of doing a demo account simulation first is to help you understand how
to trade and analyze price movements.
If they haven’t done a demo simulation:
Sorry, as you haven't done the demo account simulation yet, we will conclude this
face-to-face session here. Please do the simulation first to understand how to trade and
analyze price movements. (Reject)

3. Next, on the customer profile form, you are required to fill in personal details,
emergency contact, and profession/income source.

 May I know what your profession is?


If you are a housewife/retiree: Could you tell me if there are any other sources of
income, Mr./Ms. X?
If no other income: Sorry, since you have no income other than your pension or
support from your spouse, we are unable to accept you as a customer as you do not
meet our criteria. (Reject)
4. As with any business, futures trading carries risks. Do you fully understand the risks
involved in futures trading?
If yes: Could you briefly explain your understanding of the risks in futures trading?
If no: Risks may occur if you trade in the opposite direction of the market, causing
losses including all funds/margin you deposited. Therefore, you need to understand
more about futures trading to minimize risks. Please contact our partner who
previously communicated with you.
Sorry, since you don't understand the risks of futures trading, we must reject your
application as you do not meet our criteria. (Reject)
5. You will then enter into a Mandate Agreement with the designated from our
Representative Broker company. Can this number I’m calling you on receive calls via
regular phone lines?
If no number: Please add a phone number that can receive calls via regular phone
lines in the TICKET menu of our app.
For dispute resolution, you can choose either BAKTI (Indonesian Futures Trading
Arbitration Body) or the District Court. If you wish to file a complaint, you can do so
in the TICKET menu of our app or on the BAPPEBTI website. Complaints can also
be made at our head office or nearest branch office.
6. The Trading Rules document will be attached for you to read in more detail.
7. During this face-to-face process, did anyone guide you in answering our questions?

After this call ends, you can begin filling out the online registration system under the
Documents/Create Account menu in our app. Please make sure you have your ID card, selfie
photo, and as supporting documents, please attach a bank book cover showing your account
number.

Step 6 (Closing)
