 Abstract

It was a great pleasure to work at Playbox TV. The company was very co-operative and

open to help during our span of internship. During my internship at Playbox TV, I had the

opportunity to work within the Content Management System (CMS) team. My role

primarily focused on enhancing and managing content to improve user experience and

engagement on the Playbox TV platform. I was responsible for updating, organizing and

maintaining the content within the CMS. This included uploading new content , daily

checking of OTT apps ,categorizing it appropriately. We also received the training in

JavaScript during the internship.

1. INTRODUCTION

Playbox TV is a OTT aggregator company where we did our internship for 6 weeks from
03/06/2024 to 13/07/2024. During the time there we learnt many skills in JavaScript. I
learned an array of skills related to how content management system (CMS) works and what
is its contribution in the company. My contribution in the CMS team was to help them with
the daily OTT checking , creating new buckets for Playbox TV Homepage, uploading new
content, banners, posters, trailers in Playbox TV.

experience by listing Movies, TV shows & web series from over 30+ OTT Apps with
350+ Channels across 10+ Languages. It helps reduces the number of apps a user
must access by providing a one-stop solution for all your entertainment.

3.1. Routine Maintenance.

Every day of new week

1] Team leader assigned me 4 OTT apps for daily OTT checking in which I have to see new
releases, if new movie or tvshow is released I have to ingest that content with the help of
connector or adding that content in the missing content sheet later on it will be getting added.
Then I have to check and update banners, posters, trailers, thumbnails.
2] Creating new bucket and updating buckets of Playbox TV homepage.
3] End of the week I have to make sure that my OTTs are proper and are properly visible on
Playbox TV.
 CHAPTER 4

4.0 Manufacturing Process/ Product Development Process.

1] I learned about Content Management System (CMS)
 Daily OTT Checking.
 Uploading Posters , Banners, Thumbnails, Traliers.
 Resizing the Posters and Thumbnails with given sizes.
 Creating new buckets of movies and tvshows for PlayboxTV Homepage.

1. Keep an eye on each movement in the monitoring process.
2. Make sure you use your own working machine for the work assigned
3. Make sure that you do not share login details.

2. The office was very well maintained with cam for security purposes.
3. Biometrics was on the entrance so they can track the fingerprints of employees no other
person can enter the office if their fingerprints are not on the biometrics.

 With the help of this internship, we were able to experience how the industry works
and have an idea about the skill set required and minimized the gap between college
and the outside world.

9.0 Short report/ Description of the project

First week was all about training and introduction to the industry. The first week was a week
full of training, as we were given the overview about the company. Ms. Lavina Dsouza ,
Senior Manager – Technology taught us about how the Content Management System (CMS)
works. She taught how to add buckets on Playbox TV, how to upload posters , trailers,
banners, thumbnails and also taught how to create new buckets for movies and tvshows.

In the second week, I created new buckets of movies and tvshows of given OTT apps.
Uploaded posters in given OTT apps. Team leader taught about colour theory and principles
of design. I was assigned to check and add series in the page of discover all ott trending
series. I created and checked bucket of OTT app.

In the third week, we were introduced to a training for JavaScript Language using Visual
Studio(VS) code. Checked and created new bucket for OTT app. My team leader assigned
me 4 OTT apps for daily OTT checking.

In the fourth week, I started my daily OTT checking in which I have to see new releases, if
new movie or tvshow is released I have to ingest that content with the help of connector or
adding that content in the missing content sheet later on it will be getting added. Then I have
to check and update banners, posters, trailers, thumbnails of the given OTT apps. We got the
training of JavaScript Language. I created a new bucket of movies and tvshows and created a
search page.

In the fifth week, checking of OTT apps. We got training of JavaScript.

In the sixth week,checking of OTT apps. I was assigned to give alternate names for buckets
of homepage. Searched originals bucket in OTT apps. We got training of JavaScript.
