● are individuals or institutions that are interested in the school curriculum

Curriculum Stakeholders
● Learners are at the core of curriculum.
● Teachers are curricularists.
● School leaders are curriculum managers.
● Parents.
● Community as the Curriculum Resources and a Learning Environment.
● Other Stakeholders in Curriculum Implementation and Development.

1. Learners are at the core of curriculum.


● Central to the curriculum
● Active participation in planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating is
increasing.
● Their involvement varies by maturity.

2. Teachers are curricularists


● Teachers are responsible for planning, designing, teaching, implementing, and
evaluating the curriculum.
● Better teachers foster better learning
● A teacher designs, enriches, and modifies the curriculum to suit the learners
characteristics
● Some of the roles that the teachers do in curriculum implementation are:

1. guiding, facilitating and directing the activities of the learners;


2. choosing the activities and the methods to be utilized;
3. choosing the materials that are necessary for the activity;
4. evaluating the whole implementation process and 5. making a decision
whether to continue, modify or terminate the curriculum.

3. School leaders are curriculum manager


● Oversee curriculum implementation
● Support teachers and students
● Communicate with stakeholders
● Provide necessary resources

4. Parent
● Parents are significant school partner.
● Support children’s learning at home
● Engage in school programs
● Indirect but important role in curriculum success

5. Community as Curriculum Resources and Learning Environment


● The community is an extension of the school
● Provides real-world learning experiences
● The community is the reflection of the school's influence and the school is a
reflection of the community support.
