16th to 17th September , 2023
RULES &REGULATION
1. Venue: Diksha international school , Bhagalpur
2. Org by: Bhagalpur District Chess Association
3. Arrival : 16th September , 2023 at 06:00 Hrs
4. Inauguration: 16th September , 2023 at 09:00 Hrs.
5 First Round 16th September , 2023 at 10:30 a.m
5. Eligibility criteria: Any ABCA registered players of Bihar
7. System of Play: The Championship will be played under FIDE’s Laws of Chess and
the Swiss system.
8. Time Control: Rapid: 10+5
Blitz: 3 + 2
9. No. of Rounds: 7-9 Depend upon no. of participants.
10. Default time: Till all time lapse.
11. Protests: Protest if any, against the decision of the chief arbiter shall be made in writing
with protest fee of Rs.1,000/- within 30 minutes of occurrence of the incident.
The amount shall be refunded if appeal is upheld. The decision of the appeals
committee is FINAL AND BINDING on all players concerned.

Blitz: 1) 1,500 , 2) 1,000 , 3) 800 , 4) 700 , 5) 500 , 6) 500
18. Accommodation: Free Dormitory accommodation would be provided to all out station
Players and one team manager on advance intimation.
19. Selection:- Top Two players will be selected to represent Bihar in National Rapid
& Blitz Chess Championship. Participation expenditure (Entry fee , TA
& DA) of Bihar State in National Championship shall be reimbursed
to all the official (Seeded / Selected) players of Bihar Team after their
participation and on production of their entry fee receipt .
20. Mess Food will be available there at Venue @ 400 for the whole period
(16th to 17th)
