1. DEMO VIDEO

1.Introduction (5 mins)
Hi my name is ____, I am from ___, my hobbies are ____. And I’m going to be
your coding teacher for this class today.
Once you have given your introduction.

You will ask the kid to introduce her/himself.

What is your name?

How old are you?
Which class/grade are you in?
Where are you from, which country?
What are your hobbies?

Do you know what this class is all about?

Can you tell me what we are going to do in class today ?
Do you know what we are going to learn in this class?
WELCOME GESTURE

Teacher: Thank you so much for giving your introduction , I look forward
to having you in the session
Let’s get started.
You can also do fun activities to begin and introduce the concept of
coding.

INTRODUCE SCRATCH PLATFORM

At this point you will talk about how there are different platforms and
languages that we use for coding .
Eg: Have you heard of Scratch before ? If the answer is YES, again
you will ask them to explain in simple words what they know about
Scratch. If the answer is NO you will proceed in explaining what Scratch
is. Eg: SCRATCH is a visual programming language using which we can
create fun games, stories or animations( in case of little or junior champs
also ask and explain what animations are), after which you will tell the
kid that today we will together create/learn how to make a project using
the Scratch platform.
Also show the project to the student whatever they are going to make .

Project (10 min)

Complete the project with the kid, explain everything and every block
you used. Don't just give instructions to add blocks only. Explain the
reasoning too.

END- TALKING TO THE PARENT AND TELLING ABOUT

ACADEMIC COUNSELLOR AND COURSE.
