A LITTLE LOVE RABBIT

Material:

1. Yarn: sport or DK light weight yarn


(I used Jeans from Yarn Art: red 26, cream 03).
2. Hook: Size 2.3 mm
3. Two 6 mm safety eyes
4. Polyester fiberfill, stitch markers

Abbreviations:

rnd: round dec: decrease

ch: chain sl st: slip stitch

sc: single crochet hdc: half double crochet

Size: If you use yarn as me, the finish doll will be 9 cm / 3.5 inch.

HEART
Start in the red

Rnd 1: 6 sc in the magic ring (6)

Rnd 2: 6 inc (12)

Rnd 3: (2 sc, inc)*4 (16)

Rnd 4: (7 sc, inc)*2 (18)

Rnd 5: 18 sc, slst. (18)

Make the first one and cut the yarn.

Make the second one, don't cut the yarn, join first one (start from the slst of first one) to
contunie crochetting:
Rnd 6: 18 sc on the first one, 18 sc on the second one (36)

Rnd 7: 36 sc (36)

Rnd 8: (7 sc, dec)*4 (32)

Rnd 9: (dec, 6 sc)*4 (28)

Rnd 10: (5 sc, dec)*4 (24)

Rnd 11: (dec, 4 sc)*4 (20)

Rnd 12: (3 sc, dec)*4 (16)

Stuff the heart

Rnd 13: (dec, 2 sc)*4 (12)

Stuff the heart, then fasten off and weave the yarn.

Start in the cream

Stuff the head

Rnd 19: 8 dec (8)

Stuff the head, then cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Put in the eyes between rows 9-10, leaving 3 stitches space between them.

Sew the nose between rnds 10-13 with red.

EAR (make 2)
Start in the cream

Rnd 1: 4 sc in the magic ring (4)

Rnd 2: 4 inc (8)

Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc)*4 (12)

Rnd 4: (inc, 3 sc)*3 (15)

Rnd 5-7: 15 sc (15)

Rnd 8: (3 sc, dec)*3 (12)


Rnd 9: 12 sc (12)

Rnd 10: (4 sc, dec)*2, slst. (10)

Fasten off the yarn, leaving a tail for sewing. Do not stuff.

Fold the top of the ear, sew the 2 opposed stitches together.

Put in the ears between rows 2-5. Use pink blush on the inside of the ears.

LEG (make 4)
Start in cream

Make a magic ring: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 3 dc, 2 hdc, 1 sc.

Don't slip stitch to end. Fasten off the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Sew the wrong side out, then sew claws with black.
TAIL (make 1)
Start in cream.

Rnd 1: 6 sc in the magic ring (6)

Rnd 2: 6 inc (12)

Rnd 3: (3 sc, inc)*3 (15)

Rnd 4: (3 sc, dec)*3 (12)

Rnd 5: (dec, 2 sc)*3, slst. (9)


Fasten off the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Don't stuff the tail. Sew the wrong side out.

BOW (make 1)
Bow for girl: Start in blue

Rnd 1: make 10 ch, start in the second ch from hook: 9 sc, turn

Rnd 2-6: 9 sc, turn

Rnd 7: 9 sc.

Fasten off and weave the yarn. Roll the yarn around the center of the bow (2 rounds).

Bow for boy: start in blue

Rnd 1: make 12 ch, start in the second ch from hook: 11 hdc, 1 ch, turn

Rnd 2-4: 11 hdc, 1 ch, turn

Rnd 5: 11 hdc.

Fasten off and weave the yarn. Roll the yarn around the center of the bow (2 rounds).

Assembling
1. Sew the head into the heart
2. Sew the legs into the heart, then sew the claws

3. Sew the tail into the heart

4. use fabric glue to paste the bow into the head (for girl), into the heart (for boy).
