center of it. Tiptoeing into the room the young boy climbed onto the
bed searching through the tangled arms and legs for the one he was
searching for. He spotted his father’s identical brown hair and crawled
over to the man.
“Father.” The boy whispered leaning close to the young man’s face.
“Caol leave your father alone.” Blue eyes met grey as Adonis sat up
stretching.
“That is right he did promise you.” Adonis chuckled taking his son
into his arms. “You know you will catch fish better at night.”
“I know but I’m bored and there is nothing to do.” Caol whined.
“Then why don’t you lay with us and go back to sleep.” Cade groaned
rolling over.
“You know for a six year old you are very bossy.” Irial chuckled
giving his son a kiss on the forehead.
“He gets it from his father.” Adonis chuckled nuzzling the top of his
son’s head.
“It wouldn’t matter anyway Addy has been teaching him everything
he needs to know.” Cade groaned as his son climbed on top on him
laying his head on the man’s chest. Cade smiled wrapping his arms
around the young boy. Caol sighed closing his eyes when Adonis
began to rub his back.
“We are the luckiest fathers ever.” Irial laughed kissing Adonis’s
shoulder.
Caol cracked an eye watching his two fathers share a kiss smiling.
“No I think I’m the luckiest son ever.”
“I say we are all lucky.” Cade chuckled running his fingers through
his son’s hair.
“I think it’s time we get up and have some breakfast.” Adonis said.
Caol nodded and sat up quickly causing his fathers to blink when a
rush of wind erupted into the room. Caol had suddenly disappeared
and there was a crash in the front room along with a small cry of pain
from the boy. Cade and Adonis stared at each other in shock, that was
not normal for a human boy.
