I. Objectives
At the end of the session, the participants should be able to:

a. Define AI in Education and its relevance in English classrooms;


b. Explore practical AI tools that enhance the teaching of reading, writing, speaking, and listening;
c. Utilize ChatGPT in classroom application such as debate preparation; and
d. Reflect on ethical and pedagogical considerations in using AI tools in the classroom.

A. Key Understanding

Artificial Intelligence, when thoughtfully integrated into the English classroom, can enhance teaching effectiveness
and student learning by providing personalized, efficient, and engaging instruction—while also requiring educators to guide
students in ethical and critical use of digital tools.

B. Content
The session encapsulates the role of AI in English Language Teaching, the different AI tools for the English Macro
skills, classroom applications of AI, and digital literacy.
