Configuration Details
l Each system bay 1 contains a PDU, KVM, Ethernet switch and up to six DAEs, and
1 or 2 SPS pairs. The configuration depends on whether there are one or two
engines in the system.
l Multiple engine systems include a 12-port (VMAX 100K and 200K) or 18-port
(VMAX 400K) MIBE.
l Systems can use 60-drive (3.5" form factor) DAEs or 120-drive (2.5" form factor)
DAEs. 2.5" and 3.5" DAEs can be mixed behind an engine.
