How to upload assignments to Google Classroom

Parents and students,

I created this document to help you upload assignments into Google Classroom. When you first log
into Google Classroom, you will see this screen. If you click on the little person in the box at the
bottom, it’s a shortcut to your assigned work. If you click on my name, it will take you to the stream,
where you will see the Classwork tab at the top that you can click on to see all of the materials and
assignments.
Here are the assignment directions and the link to the video. Next to the directions is a box that says
“Your work.” Click on “+ Add or create”, then on file. Next, a box will come up saying “Insert files using
Google Drive.”

This may be the tricky part:

Drag the picture of your assignment from your desktop, your documents, or your download (wherever
you have it saved) into the box and click on “Upload.”

There may be another way to do it, maybe even an easier way, but this is how I have been doing it.
If you know of an easier or better way, let me know! This Google Classroom is all new to me also,
and I’m just figuring it out as I go.
