MODULE 1 and 2 ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT

A circuit is a circular path which is always required to get electricity to flow and do
something useful. It is also a path that starts and stops the current at the same time. It is
classified into two whether it is an electrical or an electronics circuit.

At the end of this module, you are expected to:

1. Define electrical circuit ,

2. Identify the sources of current use in electrical circuit,
3. Differentiate electrical from electronics circuit and
4. Draw a schematic diagram of an electrical circuit.

What I Need To Know ?

An electrical circuit is a path in which electrons from a voltage or current source flow.
The point where those electrons enter an electrical circuit is called the source of electrons, while
electronic circuit is composed of individual electronic components, such as resistors,
transistors, capacitors, inductors and diodes, connected by conductive wires or traces through
which an electric current can flow.

In this lesson, as you work on with the activity, you will be able to answer the following
key questions:

What are the different electrical circuit?

Identify the parts of an electrical circuit?

Before you start with the Lesson, be sure to answer the pre – assessment.
