How to Check and Calibrate Air Sensor in CBS304050Touch Version

The document outlines procedures for checking and calibrating the air sensor in CBS30, 40, and 50 touch versions. It details steps for different situations based on the Air Sensor AD readings, including adjustments to the rheostat and testing with distilled water. Calibration is confirmed by ensuring stable readings for both air and liquid AD values before saving the calculated average.

How to check and calibrate air sensor in CBS30,40,50(Touch version)

When calibration fails, air sensor should be checked and calibrated.

After changing a new mainboard or a new air sensor, air sensor also should be
checked and calibrated.

Or

Procedures:
Open the sampling door the click “Start”,letting sampling needle
aspirate air.

Then observe if Air Sensor AD is around 480 (460-490 is OK).

1.Situation A
If it is around 480, keep the sampling door open and prepare some
distilled water, letting sampling needle aspirate some distilled water
to check if liquid AD is over 800.

If it does, repeat several times, letting the sampling needle aspirate air

then the distilled water to see if air AD(480) and liquid AD(over 800)
changes.

If the two values are stable, then calibrate the air sensor

Open the sampling door then click “Test Air AD”,letting sampling
needle aspirate air until peristaltic pump doesn’t spin. After
testing ,Air AD should be around 480.

Keep the sampling door then prepare some distilled water.

Click “Test Liquid AD”,letting sampling needle aspirate distilled water
until peristaltic pump doesn’t spin. After testing ,Liquid AD should be
over 800.
*Click “Calculated value”,which means “calculate the average of the
two values and save”.

(2)If the two values are unstable, change the other new air sensor to
check.
After confirming that the two values are stable, then calibrate the air
sensor.

2.Situation B
If Air sensor AD after aspirating air is less than 480,like this value

Remove the back shell of the analyzer, finding the blue sliding rheostat
of air sensor on the mainboard.
Turn it clockwise, making Air sensor AD after aspirating air around
480.
If it is around 480, keep the sampling door open and prepare some
distilled water, letting sampling needle aspirate some distilled water
to check if liquid AD is over 800.

3.Situation C
If Air sensor AD after aspirating air is more than or far more than
480,like this value

Remove the back shell of the analyzer, finding the blue sliding rheostat
of air sensor on the mainboard.
Turn it anticlockwise, making Air sensor AD after aspirating air around
480.
